Flora and Flutter December 2017 Paper Pumpkin Alternate Card with Bird Banter, Eastern Palace, Sure Do Love You, Lots to Love - IV

Those pesky, scattered snow showers are still hanging around today and the roads are still hazardous.  Our high temperature is supposed to be 22 with a low of 7 for tonight.  After today, our temperatures are to return to normal or even above normal with rain again towards the end of the week.  Oh goodness!!!

My share for today is another Alternate Card that I made using Stampin' Up's December 2017 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Flora and Flutter and SU's new Occasions Catalog Bird Banter and Sure Do Love You Stamp Sets.  Let's take look at my fourth Card:

My Card Base is Cherry Cobbler Cardstock cut at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored and folded at 4-1/4" for a side opening Card.

As some of you may know, the Square Lemon Lime Twist Leaf Stem Die Cuts were cut backwards and Stampin' Up placed the corrected version in our kits along with the version that was cut backwards.  So we got extras!  I used the backwards version on my Alternate Sure Do Love You Card. 

So, I trimmed down one of the backwards Lemon Lime Twist Leaf Stem Die Cut Squares to measure 3-3/4" x 3-3/4".  I trimmed out a panel of Pool Party Cardstock to measure 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" and adhered it to the back of the Lemon Lime Twist Square with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered this panel to my Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals as shown in the picture above.

Using SU's new Occasions Catalog Bird Banter Stamp Set, I stamped the two Birds, 3 Short Leaf Stems (one for the inside of my Card), one Long Leaf Stem and 3 Hearts onto Shimmery White Cardstock with Basic Black Archival Ink.

I colored my Birds with my Stampin' Blends Markers in Old Olive, Daffodil Delight and Smokey Slate and fussy cut them out.

I colored my Leaf Stems in Light and Dark Old Olive and fussy cut them out.

I colored my Hearts in Light Cherry Cobbler.  Using SU's Fine Tip Glue Bottle Adhesive, I filled in each Heart with Glue, let them dry and then fussy cut them out.

I adhered the Long Leaf Stem with Mono Multi Purpose Glue behind the Center of the Stem and a Stampin' Dimensional behind the Leaves.

I snipped a little slit in the White Birds Beak and adhered one of the Hearts into the slit with a tiny dab of Mono Multi Purpose Glue.  I then adhered the Birds with Stampin' Dimensionals behind the Body's and Mono Multi Purpose Glue under their Feet.

I adhered two of the Short Leaf Stems with Mono Multi Purpose Glue under the Stems and the Hearts with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals as shown in the picture above.

 
Using SU's new Sure Do Love You Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment in Cherry Cobbler Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and die cut the Banner out with the Banner Die from SU's coordinating Lots to Love Box Framelits Dies.  

I also die cut a Banner from SU's Eastern Palace Designers Series Paper with the Lemon Lime Twist White Diamond pattern and one from Pool Party Cardstock.  

I adhered two of the Banners, staggering them, with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and the Sentiment Banner with Stampin' Dimensionals as shown in the picture above.

For the inside of my Card:
I trimmed out a panel of Pool Party Cardstock to measure 3-1/8" x 5" and adhered it to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using Sure Do Love You Stamp Set, I inked up the Large Heart stamp with Cherry Cobbler Ink, stamped it off onto another piece of Cardstock and then onto the Pool Party Cardstock without re-inking.

I then stamped the Heart Sentiment in Basic Black Archival Ink over the top of the stamped Cherry Cobbler Heart.

And, I must have forgotten to adhere the last Short Leaf Stem next to the Heart as it's not in my picture.  Oopsy!

You could even make an Anniversary Card or even a Wedding Card with the Bird Banter Stamp Set.  It's so much fun to play, I mean, work with!!!  😊😊😊
