My share for today is a Gift Card Holder that I designed. Let's take a look:
I forgot to take pictures as I was creating my Gift Card Holders and before I signed them. It's also a very cloudy day out today. So, my pictures are not the best.
My Gift Card Holder Base is Soft Sky Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 8-3/4" and scored and folded at 2-1/4" and 5-3/8".
Using Stampin' Up's Popcorn Box Thinlits Dies, I die cut both ends of the Gift Card Holder Base as shown in the picture above with the Scalloped Die.
I also die cut two thin Scallop strips from Whisper White Cardstock as shown in the pictures. One is for the Front and one is for the Inside of the Gift Card Holder.
Using SU's Tear & Tape Adhesive, I folded up the 2-1/4" panel and adhered it to the Cardstock to create the pocket.
I adhered one of the Scalloped strips with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.
I had some left over Heart Shapes from die cutting Mittens using the Many Mittens Framelits Dies so I adhered them to the Scalloped Strips with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.
Using Novembers Back in Plaid Paper Pumpkin Stamp Set, I stamped the To and From on the inside flap in Basic Black Archival Ink.
Sorry for the blurry picture...To make the Gift Card Pull:
I trimmed out a strip of Real Red Cardstock to measure 1/2" x 5-1/2", folded it around the Gift Card and adhered it together at the top with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Using SU's Trim Your Stocking Thinlits Dies, I die cut out the Heart from Real Red Cardstock and adhered it to the top of the Real Red Strip for a Pull with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
For the Belly Band:
I trimmed out a strip of Old Olive Cardstock to measure 1" x 9". I loosely folded the strip around the Gift Card Holder and adhered it in the front with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Using SU's Starburst Punch, I punched a Starburst from Old Olive Cardstock.
Using SU's Layering Circles Framelits Dies, I die cut the 1-7/8" Circle Die from Real Red Cardstock and adhered it to the Starburst with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Using SU's Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies, I die cut the Double Tree from Garden Green Cardstock, the Deer from Soft Suede Cardstock and the Star from Crushed Curry Cardstock.
I adhered the Trees and the Star to the Starburst with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I adhered the Deer with thin strips of Stampin' Dimensionals.
I brushed some Wink of Stella onto my Star to give it a glittery shine.
I adhered some of SU's new Gold Glitter Flakes to my Trees with tiny dabs of Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I adhered the Starburst to my Belly Band with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I really like how my Gift Card Holder turned out.
Stampin' Up! restocked the Clearance Rack with lots of goodies!!! I see that some of the items have flown off the shelves already!
Stamparatus
The Stamparatus is a new product from Stampin' Up! I was one of the unfortunate ones to miss the first reservation window. I love this new product and my FAVE feature of the Stamparatus is the double doors!
Change in Stamparatus Reservation Windows
The results are in! The first Stamparatus reservation
window reached its maximum number of reservations in just 15 minutes,
which provided us with some very important information: You LOVE this
new stamping tool! We couldn’t be more thrilled; in fact, your response
was so amazing that we’ve decided to make some important adjustments to
the reservation process.
As was previously announced, the second reservation window will remain open from December 5–30; however, during this reservation period we will take as many orders as we receive (yay!) and not close the window until December 30. So whether the total number of reservations is 100 or 100,000, the window will stay open!
Please note the following changes:

So whether the total number of reservations is 100 or 100,000, the window will stay open!
Please note the following changes:
- Beginning March 19, we will ship Stamparatuses in the order the reservations were received (first in, first out) and continue through the next few months and beyond as product arrives in our warehouse. Because shipment dates are based on manufacturing lead times, not all of the reservations made during the December 5–30 window will ship on March 19 (as was previously announced).
- In order to accommodate demand, limits have changed as follows: one reservation per customer and one per demonstrator.
- Because we are not limiting the maximum number of reservations for the second window, we will not offer a third window. This is the last chance for you and your customers to reserve a Stamparatus before it becomes available in the 2018-2019 annual catalog.
- If you reserved more than one stamping tool during the first reservation period, that number will not change; you will still receive the same number you reserved.
- If you reserved one or more stamping tool(s) during the first reservation period, you may still order during the second window.
- The reservation window will open at 2:00 PM (MT) on December 5.

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!
I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due. My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!
This gift card holder is DARLING........Your attention to details just scream 'OVER THE TOP' on this project. THANKS for sharing with us.
ReplyDeleteLove this, Lynn! It took me a minute to figure out where the popcorn box came in so it's disguised! Love the trim and the beautiful belly-band! Awesome project!
