My share for today is a wrap up of some alternate projects and packaging ideas for the Cards, Tags and Projects that I shared on my blog the past 2 weeks using Stampin' Up's September 2017 Layered Leaves Paper Pumpkin Kit and some items from my personal stash. 😊😊😊 This kit has been a lot of fun and I could still come up with more!
Let's take a look at my Projects and Packaging ideas:
Pictured above is the Pillow Box that I made per the instructions in the kit.
I filled my Pillow Box with Hershey Nuggets that I embellished.
Using SU's Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies, I die cut the smallest Leaves from SU's Gold Foil Sheets and one of the Pre-Watercolored Envelopes from the Kit.
I trimmed out 1" x 3" strips from one of the 3" x 3" Cards and one of the Envelopes from the Kit. I wrapped the strips around the Hershey Nuggets and adhered them on the bottom with Mono Multi Purpose Glue. I then adhered a Small Leaf to each Nugget with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Pictured above is the Pillow Box that I designed to hold 3" x 3" Cards that I designed and Envelopes.
Pictured above and the next 3 pictures are the 3" x 3" Cards that I designed to go into the Pillow Box.
Next up, I embellished 3 more Hershey Nuggets and inserted them into one of SU's 2" x 8" Cellophane Bags. I tied the Bag off with SU's 1/4" Copper Mesh Trim, stamped and tied on a Tag from the kit with a length of the Copper/White Baker's Twine from the kit and trimmed off about 2-1/2" from the top of the Bag.
I made my own gift packaging for my Pillow Box 3" x 3" Card Holder and the Bag of Hershey Nuggets.
Using one of SU's 6" x 17" Cellophane Bags, I opened up the Bag and with one hand holding the Bag open, I folded the bottom corners of the Bag to the bottom of the Bag with Glue Dots as shown in the picture above.
Using SU's Bundle of Love Designers Series Paper, I trimmed out a piece to measure 6" x 11-3/4" and scored it at 4" and 10". I folded my score lines and inserted the DSP into the Bag. I trimmed off the top of the Bag at the 10" score line.
I put my Pillow Box Card Holder and the Hershey Nugget Bag inside the Bag and folded the top 1-3/4" flap down onto the top of the Bag.
And, of course, I adhered another Leaf embellishment to the top of the Bag with one of the Crushed Curry Mini Clothespins from the kit to hold the Bag closed.
My next packaging idea was to embellish and fill one of SU's Wood Stamp Cases.
My insert for the Stamp Case is Blushing Bride Cardstock cut at 7-1/16" x 11-3/8".
I cut a long length of SU's 3/8" Old Olive Mini Chevron Ribbon and adhered it to the front and back of the Stamp Case with Tear & Tape Adhesive.
I embellished the front of my Stamp Case exactly like the Layered Leaves Blushing Bride Card that I shared on my blog last week and pictured a little farther down in this post except that I used 3 of SU's Gold Faceted Gems on the Pillow Box Front Panel.
I then filled my Stamp Case with Cards, Envelopes and my Tag/Treat Holder that I designed.
For the left side with the Band to hold the Envelopes:
I trimmed out a strip of Blushing Bride Cardstock to measure 1" x 6-1/4". I scored both ends at 1/2" and 11/16". I folded the score lines and adhered the both 1/2" ends to the left side of the Stamp Case with Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Using the Layered Leaves Stamp Set from the kit, I stamped the Large Leaf Stamp onto the Envelopes from the kit with Cajun Craze, Old Olive and Blushing Bride Inks as shown in the picture above.
Using SU's Whisper White Medium Envelopes, I stamped the Large Leaf Stamp again with the same inks as shown in the pictures above.
For the right side of the Stamp Case:
I inserted the 3 Alternate Cards that I designed in the upper left corner of the right side of the Stamp Case. Below are pictures of the 3 Cards that I share with you last week.
I inserted the three 3" x 3" Cards shown below that I made per the instructions in the kit.
I then inserted the Pillow Box Tag/Treat Holder that I designed on the right side.
I tucked a large Hershey Chocolate Bar behind the Tags that I designed and are shown in the picture below.
Let's not forget the Banner!!! Phew...that was a lotta' work and oh, so FUN!!!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due. My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!
