Well, we are almost done with the re-modeling of the BIG room off of our balcony upstairs. We just need to pick out some carpet and have it installed. What a chore that was and another chore will be moving things back into the room.
I'll be having another procedure done this week so I might be missing in action for a little bit.
My share for today is a sweet Halloween Card that I designed. Let's take a look:
Isn't the Pretty Kitty so Sweet peeking out of that Pumpkin!!!
There is an awful lot to this card and it won't be a brief explanation; but, here goes:
My Card Base is Basic Back Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2" for a top folding Card.
My Card Front Panel is Very Vanilla Cardstock Stock at 3-7/8" x 5-1/8". I trimmed out a piece of the Circle Pattern from SU's Spooky Night Designers Series Paper to measure 3" x 3-7/8" and adhered it to the top of my Very Vanilla Card Front Panel.
I adhered a length of SU's 3/8" Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon around the splice and adhered it to my Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Using SU's Layering Ovals Framelits Dies, I die cut out the largest Scalloped Oval from Basic Black Cardstock and 2 of the largest Ovals from Very Vanilla Cardstock (one for the inside of my card). I adhered one fo the Very Vanilla Ovals to the Basic Black Scalloped Oval with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Using SU's Gourd Goodness Stamp Set, I stamped the Pumpkins in Pumpkin Pie Ink onto Peekaboo Peach Cardstock and fussy cut them out. I fussy cut the Small Pumpkin off of the Large Pumpkin (the Small Pumpkin is for the inside of my Card). I also stamped the tall Pumpkin Stem in Soft Suede Ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock.
Using SU's Seasonal Chums Stamp Set, I stamped the Greeting onto the large Pumpkin in Basic Black Archival Ink.
Using SU's Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Set, I stamped 3 of the Long Leaves in Old Olive Ink onto Old Olive Cardstock.
Using SU's Bouquet Bunch Framelits Dies, I die cut out:
Two Leaf Stems from Pear Pizzazz Cardstock
Two Fern Stems from Soft Suede Cardstock
The two stamped Long Leaves
Using SU's Painted Harvest Stamp Set, I stamped the two Detailed Leaf Stems in Old Olive Ink onto Old Olive Cardstock and punched them out with SU's Leaf Punch.
I stamped the Acorn in Soft Suede and Crumb Cake Inks and fussy cut it out.
Using SU's Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits Dies, I die cut out one of the large Leaves and one short and one long Vine.
Using SU's Pretty Kitty Stamp Set, I stamped my Kitty in Basic Black Archival Ink and lightly watercolored it with the same ink and my Aqua Painter Brush. I used my Blushing Bride Stampin' Write Marker to color in the Kitty's ears and nose and fussy cut the Kitty out.
I adhered the Oval panel to my Card Front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I adhered the 3 Long Leaves to the bottom of the Oval with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I adhered the Kitty to the top of my Pumpkin with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and then to the Oval with Stampin' Dimensionals.
All the rest of the die cuts were adhered with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.
I tied another short length of the Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon, tied it into a knot and adhered it next to the Oval with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I adhered 3 small Enamel Glitter Dots randomly to the foilage.
For the inside of my Card:
Using Spooky Cat Stamp Set, I stamped the Sentiment and Dashed Bar with Basic Black Archival Ink onto the second Oval and adhered the it to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I adhered the Stem to the small Pumpkin and next to the Sentiment with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Again, there was a lot that went into this Card; but, oh-so-worth-it!!!
I still have some Stampin' Up Promotions to share with you today too! You only have today and tomorrow left for a couple of them.....

My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.
