Stampin' Up Sneak Peek 2016 Occasions Catalog - Have A Nice Cuppa Tea Bag Holders

I decided to post some of my most popular designs this week since I'm on vacation:
This blog post has 943 blog views; totally amazing!!!  Thank you all for visiting my blog!!!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!  Mine was fun as I got to play with some more new products from my Stampin' Up 2016 Occasions Catalog pre-order!

Today, I'm going to share some fun Tea Bag Holders that I made using SU's new A Nice Cuppa Stamp Set, Cups and Kettle Framelits Dies and Have a Cuppa Designer Series Paper.  Let's get to it:

The new SU products that I used in the picture above are the Two Tone Baker's Twine (Melon Mambo and Basic Black), It's My Party Enamel Dots, the Have a Cuppa Designer Series Paper and the Cups & Kettle Framelits Dies.

The Sentiment is from SU's Endless Thanks Stamp Set.  It fit the little tea bag tag perfectly.

I used a piece of Wisteria Wonder DSP from SU's Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack for the Tea Bag Holder.

For this Tea Bag Holder above, I used SU's new Two Tone Baker's Twine (Melon Mambo and Basic Black) and Cups & Kettle Framelits Dies.

I thought it would be neat to put the heart steam die cut on the front of the tea cup and slide the spoon die cut into the center of the heart die cut.  Then, I used the other 'coil' steam die cut (cut in half) above the tea cup for some actual steam.

The sentiment is from SU's new Balloon Builders Stamp Set.

For the Tea Bag Holder pictured above, I used a piece of DSP from SU's new Have a Cuppa Designer Series Paper.

The sentiment is from SU's new A Nice Cuppa Stamp Set and stamped directly on the Tea Pot using SU Wisteria Wonder Ink.

This time, I stuck the SU Melon Mambo Spoon in the handle of the SU Wisteria Wonder Tea Pot.

The flower was stamped from SU's new Bloomin' Love Stamp Set on SU Whisper White Card Stock using SU Melon Mambo Ink.

I added one of SU's new It's My Party Enamel Dots to the lid of the Tea Pot and one to the center of the flower.

I stamped the heart steam directly on the Tea Cup using A Nice Cuppa Stamp Set.

The Tea Bag Holder on the right has the Hot Chocolate Mug that I die cut from the Cups & Kettle Framelits Die.

One of my two black cats (Natasha) nudged my arm for my to scratch her behind her ear and I got some black ink on the white holder.  She is always near me or in my lap when I'm stamping.  Boris, my other black cat, usually naps in their cat bed by the sliding glass door window in my studio.

And, a couple more Tea Bag Holders.  These are really addicting to make and a lot of fun!

I tied one of SU's new Have a Cuppa Embellishments on the handle of the Tea Pot in the picture on the right.

Pictured above is the inside of the Tea Bag Holder.  I tucked a Pomegranite Green Tea Bag in the one side and a Splenda Sugar in the other side.  After, folding the Tea Bag Holder, I punched each end point with SU's Curvy Corner Trio Punch.  This allowed me to easily tie a bow with ribbon or twine.

Pictured above is how I scored the sides of my Tea Bag Holder.  Cut a piece of DSP or Card Stock 6"x6".  Line you top and bottom points at the 1 1/2" mark on your trimmer and score.  Repeat on the other side.

For the center fold of the Tea Bag, line your other two opposite points in your trimmer's cutting groove and score from point to point.  Fold up, insert your tea bags or tea bag and sugar, tie it closed with ribbon or baker's twine and embellish!  Quick, easy and cute!
