Stampin' Up Have a Cuppa, A Nice Cuppa Sticky Note Pads II

Goodness, I'm sorry I missed yesterday's post.  I wasn't feeling well and pretty much slept throughout the day!  I must have needed the sleep!

Before I get started, I have a picture of 3 deer who decided to take a nap just outside my kitchen door.  I thought you would enjoy seeing these Whitetail Deer (Mom and two Little Ones) trying to keep warm and resting.

Now isn't that neat!  How often do you get to see deer laying out in the wild!

O.K. onto my project!  I have another Tri-Fold Sticky Note Pad project to share with you today using Stampin' Up's Have a Cuppa Designer Series Paper, A Nice Cuppa Stamp Set and Cups & Kettle Framelits Dies.  I listed my dimensions for you at the end of my blog post.  Let's get to it:

This time I used the tea cups instead of the teapots.  I also adhered a ribbon using Stampin' Up's Tear & Tape adhesive to tie the notepad closed.

And, a close-up of the cup.  The flower is from Stampin' Up's new Bloomin' Love Stamp Set and I die-cut it with SU's new Bloomin' Heart Thinlits Die.

Here's is the Sticky Note Pad opened up!  Below are some close-up pictures of the inside:

Close-up of the paper clip.  I adhered a cup to the tip of the paper clip and a 3/4" punched circle to the back to make it more stable.

How about those shiny lemon slices.  I added SU's Crystal Effects to each section of the lemon slice.  I LOVE the shine!!!

Some pieces of scrap ribbon and trim that I stapled to the front cover.  I added a bow to cover the staple on the front cover and a flower to cover the back of the staple on the inside cover.  I used SU's Two-Tone Melon Mambo/Basic Black Baker's Twine, Blushing Bride Sequin Trim and Gold Glitter Ribbon (Retired).

Pictured above is a close-up of the bottom cup on the front cover.  I tied one of SU's new Have a Cuppa Embellishments in a bow to the handle of the tea cup.

For the next tea cup, I stamped the spoon with the Hello sentiment from the SU Project Life  Memories in the Making Stamp Set and tucked the spoon in the handle of the tea cup. 

I used SU's Endless Thanks Stamp Set for the For You sentiment.

 

Phew...that's a lot of pictures; but, what fun!!!


Here are the dimensions for the Sticky Note Pads that I used:

Cut Card Stock 8 1/4" x 9 3/4" 
With 9 3/4" side at top of trimmer or scoreboard; Score at 3 1/8" - 3 3/8" - 6 1/2" - 6 3/4"


Here are the dimensions for the slimmer Sticky Note Pads:

Cut Card Stock 8 1/4" x 8 3/4"
With 8 3/4" side at top of trimmer or scoreboard; Score at 2 7/8" - 3 1/8" - 6" - 6 1/4"

I would suggest that you use scrap or copy paper your first time around to make sure that the dimensions fit the Sticky Note Pads that you have.
