Stampin' Up 2016 Occasions Catalog Sneak Peek - Birthday Blooms In the Meadow

Happy New Year!  

I didn't make a New Year's card...maybe because there are so many new, cool stamp sets and dies to play with from my Stampin' Up 2016 Occasions Catalog pre-order.  So fun and I'm having a blast!!!

Today, I have a Birthday card to share with you.  Let's take a look:

My card base is SU Blackberry Bliss Card Stock with a front panel from the new Free
Sale-A-Bration Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper.

The flowers in the oval are from SU's new In the Meadow Stamp Set.  I used the 
Marker-to-Stamp Technique and colored my stamp with SU Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow, Garden Green and Basic Black Stampin' Write Markers.  I water colored my butterflies using SU Crushed Curry Ink.

I used the sentiment from the new SU Occasions Birthday Blooms Stamp Set, trimmed it up for a banner and flagged the ends with SU's Triple Banner Punch.  I also made a banner with flagged ends from scraps of the new SU Wildflower Fields DSP.

The leaf stems were die cut from SU's Old Olive Card Stock using SU's new Occasions Botanical Builder Framelits Dies.

And, of course, I had to bling-bling it up with one of SU's new Occasions Botanical Gardens Jewels and a SU Tea Lace Doily!

Keeping with my New Year's Resolution to finish the inside of all my cards, I die cut a piece of SU Whisper White Card Stock using SU's Lot's of Labels Framelits Dies.

The sentiment, flowers and dots were stamped with the new SU Occasions Birthday Blooms Stamp Set using SU's Blackberry Bliss and Old Olive Ink.

I'm really happy with the way this card turned out!!!
