Stampin' Up Santa's Gifts Treat Holders - Tic Tac's II

It got into the low 50's today with a little rain this morning.  I did some shopping today and was glad to get home.  Made for a long day.

I finished water coloring the rest of the images from SU's Santa's Gifts Stamp Set and made another Treat Holder like the one that I put on my blog yesterday.  Let's take a look:

Mr. Cardinal looks so cute perched atop Mr. Reindeer's tail.

I cut a piece of Stampin' Up's Thick Whisper White Cardstock 2 1/2"x8 1/2" and scored it at 3 3/4" from each end.  I trimmed the corners off both ends.

I die cut a piece of Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper for the sky using SU's Sleigh ride edgelits and adhered it to the front top of the treat holder base.

I stamped the images from SU's Santa's Gifts Stamp Set onto SU's Shimmery White Card Stock and water colored them using SU's Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black, Crushed Curry, Elegant Eggplant, Calypso Coral and Marina Mist Inks.  Then I fussy cut all the images out.

Using SU's Dazzling Details, I applied a thin line where the DSP meets the Whisper White Card Stock for the snowline.  I also added some randomly in the white area for some glisten in the snow.

I added dimensionals to the back of the Reindeer, the Christmas Tree and Mr. Cardinal and adhered them to the treat holder.

I used SU's Fast Fuse to adhere a piece of SU's White 3/8" Glitter Ribbon around the top of the treat holder.  I used SU's Handheld Hole Punch to punch a hole in the top and threaded another piece of the glitter ribbon through the hole.  I then tied it off with a bow using SU's Cherry Cobbler Thick Bakers Twine.

I stamped the Sentiment from SU's Peaceful Pines Stamp Set in SU Cherry Cobbler Ink and punched it out with SU's new Snow Flurry Punch and adhered it to the ribbon.  I then added a Rhinestone to the sentiment.

Here's a side view showing the Tic Tac's inside.  These make for nice, small gifts for Christmas; family, friends and co-workers!

You could also make this into a tag by cutting the base at 2 1/2"x3 3/4" or it would make for a cute card.

Here's a picture of both Treat Holders that I made:

Looking at both of the Treat Holders side-by-side, I think it would make for a cute scrap book page also.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today.  Hope you can make it back tomorrow!
