Stampin' Up Designer Series Paper - Christmas Poppers

Hope everyone is enjoying this unusual warm weather for Michigan.  It is actually 70 degrees and for November 2nd, that's just crazy!  It's supposed to be 70 again tomorrow and 71 on Wednesday!  I'll take it!!!  No complaining here!!!

Well, I did get all the staining done except for one door and the door frame.  Almost there!  We went and picked out carpet and hopefully will have that installed in a couple weeks.  Yay!

My Good Friend and Fellow Demonstrator, Kadie, sent me one of these adorable Poppers to put together.  Once again, I am addicted and immediately fell in LOVE with them and made 13 so far!!!  What fun!  Thank you so much Kadie!  You sure made my day!

Below is a picture of the Popper that Kadie sent me to make:

Just too cute!  We used Stampin' Up's Designer Series Papers cut at 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" and made these Poppers using Stampin' Up's Envelope Punch Board.  There are a lot of videos out there on how to make Poppers so I won't include the instructions.

Here are a few that I made:

Too funny!  I'll have to turn my sentiment around on the middle one as the bulbs are up-side-down.  I didn't even notice until I looked at the picture here.  Easily fixed tho'!

The Top and Bottom Poppers were made using Stampin' Up's Home for Christmas DSP and the Center one is from SU's Season of Cheer DSP.

I used various SU trims, cording and Baker's Twines to tie one of the ends so far.  I only tied one end of my Poppers as I want to get some of Avon's Lip Balm's to put inside them.  I think they will make cute little gifts for friends who stop by for Christmas.

Stampin' Up's Gold and Silver Glimmer Papers really make the sentiments pop along with those sparkly SU Basic Jewel Rhinestones.  You can always find rhinestones at various stores; but, I haven't found any that are as clear or sparkly as SU's.

And, a few more:

The second Popper was made with SU's Home for Christmas DSP and the rest I used SU's Season of Cheer DSP.  I just LOVE SU's Designer Series Papers.

And, I just had to take this a step farther so that I could use SU's Merry Moments DSP Stack which is 6" x 6":

The first 4 Poppers were made using SU's Merry Moments DSP Stack.  (Ha!  The bulbs are the right way on the second one!!)  =)  I cut 2" off one end so I had a 4" x 6" piece of paper.  The only difference is that I scored 4" x 6" paper at 7/8", 1 3/4", 2 5/8", 3 1/2" instead of 1", 2", 3", 4" for the 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" paper.

I will be making some tags out of the leftover 2" piece of paper using SU's Scalloped and Ornate Tag Topper Punches.  No waste in my Studio!!!

Here are some of the SU Stamp Sets that I used for the Sentiments:

Oh, What Fun
Happy Scenes
Peaceful Pines
Christmas Cuties
Berry Merry
Versatile Christmas

Sparkly Seasons

That's all I have for today!  Thanks for stopping by my blog!  Have a good night!
