It's a sunny day outside today in Midland, Michigan. Our high temp for today is 74F with a low tonight of 55F. The winds are SSW at 5 to 10mph.
*Personal Note:
My Hubby, Randy, had his follow-up heart procedure this week. He is doing very well although, the Dr. gave him more medicine in his IV this time. I was really nervous as all he would do is sleep and then when he did wake up, he was walking like he was quite inebriated!!! Yikes!!! He is quite larger than I and I doubt that I could catch him if he fell; but, all worked out. He slept through most of the day!!!
Anyways, Great News!!! The plug that they put in his heart sealed really well which was the intent for having the Watchman surgery, so they took him off of the Xalto, start Plavix for a few months, then stop the Plavix and no more blood thinners. Yay!!! I'm so happy that it worked out!!!
I know I missed sending out a few Birthday Cards; but, please know that I was thinking of you and silently wishing that you had a Happy Birthday!!! So, back to my Stampin' Up! creations!!!
AND...It seems that I can't catch a break this month. My computer died last week and I finally got it back today. It seems that my Windows 11 was corrupt. Anyways, I've had my Christmas Organizer/Planner done for quite some time now and I haven't been able to share it with you. Hopefully, my blog will go out soon!!! It's really been a roller coaster of highs and lows for us this year!! I'm hoping things will go better soon!!!

Today, I want to share with you a Christmas Organizer/Planner that I designed over the last several weeks. It took me quite a while to create with all the trials and tribulations that we've been going through; but, I got everything completed except for my Invitation and I'll will share that with you soon! So, let's take a look at my Christmas Organizer/Planner:
Oh What Fun!!! it was to design and create my very own personal Christmas Organizer/Planner. I worked on designing it for several weeks at night and it's been finished for a while; but, our lives just got too crazy!!! Please keep in mind that each person is different and I designed my Organizer/Planner for my own personal needs.
I really like the way my Christmas Organizer/Planner turned out so I may also create a Thanksgiving and a New Year's Organizer/Planner also.
I used Stampin' Up!'s Santa Express Suite, their Christmas Gifting Kit and more to make my Christmas Organizer/Planner.
When I was done designing and creating, I tied a long length of 3/16" Iridescent Trim from the Santa Express Suite found on pages 16-18 of Stampin' Up!'s Mini Holiday Catalog.
I trimmed out and adhered one of the Acetate Overlays from the Santa Express Memories and More Card Pack with Mono Multi Purpose Glue behind where the Card is so the glue would not show through the Acetate Overlay.
I trimmed out the center of one of the Cards in the Memories & More Card Pack to use as a Frame.
I then adhered a panel of the Poppy Parade/Garden Green Dotted pattern from the Santa Express DSP to the back of the Frame.
I fussy cut out the Santa Claus from another Card and adhered him inside the Frame with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I adhered the Frame to the Front of my Christmas Organizer/Planner.
I adhered the Holly with Holly Berries and the Ho-Ho-Holidays Stickers from the Memories and More Card Pack to the top of the Frame.
I applied White Pearlized Enamel Effects Basics to the Wooden ho ho ho, let it dry and adhered it to the Bottom of the Frame.
I designed my Christmas Organizer/Planner from Shaded Spruce Cardstock so it would have Six inside pages with pockets, a Front page and a Back page.
I had tons of fun embellishing all the pages using the Santa Express Suite, Santa Express Memories & More Card Pack, the Christmas Gifting Kit and more. I used fussy cut pieces, die cut pieces, stickers, the Silver and Gold Simply Elegant Trim and more.
Pictured above is the First Pocket with the Cards removed. I trimmed out and adhered panels of the Snowflake Vellum for each pocket. The first three pockets have White Flocking and the last three have the Iridescent Foil.
I tied a fun Bow from the Silver Simply Elegant Trim and adhered it to the upper right corner.
For the First Pocket on the Left, my Hubby printed three Calendar pages (November, December, January) on Basic White Cardstock and I used one of the Cards to write down what day and time our church services would be held for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
I did the same for the Second Pocket on the Right. I adhered three of the Wooden Star elements from the Santa Express Memories & More Card Pack.
I inserted two Cards into the Right Pocket which will have my Guest List and Invitation (I don't have my Invitation done yet; but, I will post it and share it with you when I get it finished. Note - you can also use the back of some of the Cards if you need more room to write).
Pictured above is my Third and Fourth Pockets.
For my Third Pocket on the Left, I adhered one of the Wooden Element Snowflakes.
I also adhered three of the adhesive backed Stars, one Star from the Christmas Gifting Kit and one Tag from the Santa Express Memories and More Card Pack.
I cut a length of the Gold Simply Elegant Trim, tied it into a Bow and adhered it to the Tag.
In the Third Pocket, I have my Menu List, my Recipe List and my Grocery List.
Pictured above is my Fourth Pocket on the Right.
Now, you can see that I switched to the Iridescent Foil Vellum.
I adhered another Sticker, a couple Stars, a Snowflake Wooden Element and a couple fussy cut Trees and Gifts.
I trimmed out the Saying from one of the Cards and adhered it to the top.
I inserted three Cards: Gift List, Wish List and a Stocking Stuffers List.
For my Gift List: I wrote down Name, Gift, Where To Buy and Done so I could put a check mark showing that person is done. At the bottom I wrote down Handmade Gifts, Project and Supplies.
For my Wish List: Of course, Dear Santa - I wish for more Stampin' Up! products is first on my List. =) I then wrote down Want, Need, Wear and Read.
I also included a Card for Stocking Stuffers.
Pictured above is my Fifth and Sixth Pockets.
For my Fifth Pocket on the bottom, I adhered a Label from the Christmas Gifting Kit. I adhered a Sticker and a piece that was left over from one of the Cards to the Label. I also adhered the left over dots from the Tags in the Kit to look like Holly Berries.
Isn't that Iridescent Foil Vellum beautiful. I love how the camera picks up the Iridescent Glow. =)
I inserted two Cards into this Pocket. On one Card, I wrote To Do List, Decorations and Music.
On the other Card, I wrote Memories/Stories/Traditions and Notes.
For the Sixth Pocket, I adhered one of the Gift Card Holders from the Christmas Gifting Kit to the Bottom of the Pocket to keep my Receipts inside.
I adhered another of the Labels and two Leaf Springs from the Kit to the Front of the Gift Card Holder. I also adhered two more Stickers.
You could also adhere another Gift Card Holder to hold your Gift Cards inside.
I adhered another Saying to the top and a Gold Bow through the hole in the Gift Card Holder.
I inserted a Card for my Christmas Card List and a note at the Bottom to get any Mailers needed to send out Gifts and to get Stamps if needed.
I also inserted my Address Labels and some Stamps.
And, Finally...I embellished the back of my Christmas Organizer/Planner.
I trimmed out another Acetate Overlay and adhered the Overlay and two of the Wonderful Snowflakes.
I fussy cut out Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus and another Tree and adhered them also.
I adhered two more Stickers to the center of the Snowflakes. I cut a length of the Silver Simply Elegant Trim and tied it to the Tag Sticker.
Phew...I hope you all made it to the end!!! That was a lot of work; but, oh-so worth it!!! I've already started using my Santa Express Christmas Organizer/Planner and I know it is going to help me out a lot!!!
