My share for today is a Halloween Card that I designed using lots of new products from Stampin' Up!'s August 3 - January 3, 2021 Mini Holiday Catalog, the August 3 - Sept 30, 2021 Sale-A-Bration Brochure, the May 2021-April 2022 Annual Catalog and More. Let's take a look:
This little Owl is stinkin' cute and I definitely had to create something with him.
My Card Base is Whisper White Cardstock (now the Basic White) trimmed out to measure 3" x 4" and scored in the middle at 2". I'm designing some of these 2" x 3" Cards and Envelopes for a project.
Using the Frightfully Cute Stamp Set, I stamped my Moon in Mango Medley Ink by stamping off once onto another paper or Cardstock and then stamping onto my Card without re-inking.
I fussy cut a Circle from a sticky note and stuck it over my Moon to mask the Moon.
Using my Blending Brush, I used Night of Navy and Pacific Point Inks and blended it over the mask on the Moon and around the Moon leaving a space for the Moon to shine down.
I used So Saffron Ink and brushed and blended where the Moon would throw off its light.
I removed the mask.
Using the Seasonal Swirls dies, I die cut out the Broom Handle from Soft Suede Cardstock, the Straw Broom bottom and the Owls Head from So Saffron Cardstock and the Bat from Gorgeous Grape Cardstock (for the inside of my Card).
I adhered the Broom Handle to the Straw Broom bottom and to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I adhered a small piece of So Saffron Cardstock behind the Soft Suede Owls Head and then adhered the So Saffron Owls Beak and Eyes into the Owls Head.
I adhered the Witches Hat to the Owl and to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
For the inside of my Card: Using the Cutest Halloween Stamp Set, I stamped my Saying in Memento Black Ink on the inside of my Card.
I adhered the Bat just above the Saying with Mono Multi Purpose Glue on the inside of my Card.
This project is turning out so darned cute that I don't think I will be able to part with it!!! 😊😊😊
