As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I was able to view the upcoming July–December 2021 Mini Holiday Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration Brochure!!! Let me tell you...My Oh My Oh My...........
My share for today is a 'Sending Hugs' Alternate Card that I designed using components from Stampin' Up!'s June 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Expressions in Color and more. Let's take a look:
Today, I paired my Expressions In Color Paper Pumpkin Kit components with Stampin' Up!'s Sending Hugs Stamp Set and the coordinating Layering Hugs Dies and the Expressions In Ink Ephemera Pack.
My Card Base is the Bumblebee Card Base from the Kit.
Using the Layering Hugs Dies, I die cut out the Large Flowers/Leaves/Hugs Die from Basic Black Cardstock and from Whisper White Cardstock.
I colored the Whisper White die cut with my Stampin' Blends - I colored the Flowers in Light Fresh Freesia and Polished Pink.
I colored the Leaves in Light Just Jade and Light and Dark Shaded Spruce.
I colored the Stems in Light Cinnamon Cider.
TIP: (I colored everything completely and then went back over everything to do my shading.)
This card is so stunning in real life. I just couldn't capture its beauty with my camera!!!
I adhered the Basic Black HUGS die cut to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue underneath the letters only leaving the foliage free of adhesive.
I then adhered the colored Whisper White die cut to my Card only moving it over to the right slightly so you get the black silhouette effect behind the white.
Using the Sending Hugs Stamp Set, I stamped 'sending you' in Polished Pink Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock, trimmed it out on my Stampin' Trimmer and adhered it to my Card with a skinny strip of Stampin' Dimensionals.
I adhered two Flower/Bud Stems in reverse (the white side out instead of the gold side) from the Expressions In Ink Ephemera Pack to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.
I adhered three Adhesive Backed Sequins from the Kit and four Sequins from the Expressions In Ink Ephemera Pack to my Card.
