It's a sunny day today in Midland, Michigan; but, it has really cooled down. Our high temp for today is only 65F with a low tonight of 48F. Brrr...I had to get my coat back out again today...like that is the third time that I've put it away. Maybe I'll leave it out permanently!!! Anyways, the winds are WSW at 10 to 15mph.
My share for today is a Hello Friend Alternate Card that I designed using components from Stampin' Up!'s June 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Expressions in Color. Let's take a look:
Wowzers...I surely loaded up today's Card with lots of Stampin' Up! treasures!!! 😊😊😊
My Card Base is Polished Pink Cardstock.
Using the Scalloped Contours Dies, I die cut out the Large Scalloped/Dotted Die and adhered it to my Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I colored the back of the Large Vellum Flowers/Leaves from the Kit with my Stampin' Blends in Dark Fresh Freesia, Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen.
I adhered the Large Vellum Flowers to my Card with Glue Dots strategically placed behind where I thought my Loose Flower Flourishes and Words would go so the Glue Dots would not show through the Vellum.
I adhered Gold Foil Leaves and Stems from the Expressions In Ink Ephemera Pack with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.
Using the Oh Snap Stamp Set, I stamped 'Hello Friend!' in Evening Evergreen Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock, trimmed them out on my Stampin' Trimmer and adhered them to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.
I adhered four of the Adhesive Backed Sequins from the Kit and two from the Ephemera Pack to my Card as shown in the picture above.
I adhered three Small Pale Papaya and one Large Fresh Freesia Loose Flower Flourishes to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.
