My share for today is a FUN Dancing Skeleton's Alternate Card that I made with Stampin' Up!'s October 2019 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Bone Appetit. Let's take a look:
Now … How FUN is this Card!!! I had a blast creating the scene. I was inspired by the 4" x 4" Card that Stampin' Up! shared on the back of the instructions in the Bone Appetit Paper Pumpkin Kit.
I started off with a Gorgeous Grape Card Base and a Granny Green Apple Front Card Panel.
Using a decorative paper towel (it had embossed dots in it), I dabbed the paper towel into Black Memento Ink and lightly dabbed it onto my Card Front Panel.
To create the Moon - Using Layering Circles Dies, I die cut a Scalloped Circle from Crushed Curry Cardstock and a Circle from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock.
I laid one of the Spider Web/Skull die cuts from the kit over the top of my Pumpkin Pie Circle and sponged Pumpkin Pie Ink over the top to create the Spider Web/Skull image on the Circle.
Using my Wink of Stella Brush, I applied the Glittery Shine by tracing over the Spider Web Image.
I adhered the Circles together and to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I applied more Wink of Stella to my Card Front Panel by creating curvy lines coming down from the Moon.
I adhered my Card Front Panel to my Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Using Seasonal Layers Dies from the Annual Catalog, I die cut the Tree Limb from Basic Black Cardstock and adhered it to my Card as shown in the picture above.
I adhered 2 Black Monster Bash Enamel Crows to the Tree Limb.
These 2 Dancing Skeletons just crack me up and give me a good belly laugh. Too funny!!!
I adhered one of the Black Tags from the Kit and 2 Monster Bash Enamel Head Stones to my Card.
I cut a length of 3/8" Gorgeous Grape Tri Color Ribbon and pulled the threads from it to create the Hair for my Lady Skeleton. I tied the threads together with one of the threads and adhered it to the top of one of the die cut Skeletons from the Kit.
As an afterthought, I should have made a Black Hat for my Male Skeleton and it could have looked like they had gotten married!!! That would have been a Hoot also!!! You can create so many different scenario's with these Skeletons.
I adhered the Lady and Gentleman Skeletons to my Card with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
Using Boo To You Stamp Set from the Holiday Catalog, I stamped my Sentiment in Granny Apple Green Ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock and adhered it to my Card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I adhered 2 Basic Gray Monster Bash Enamel Dots to the Skull in the Moon and 3 to my Sentiment.
I hope you get to create you own Monster Bash and have as much FUN as I did creating my Monster Bash!!!
Have a Blessed Day!!!

Cling Stamps
Stampin' Up!'s red rubber stamps are now better then ever!
Cling stamps were first introduced in Japan beginning with their 2018-2019 annual catalog. The new stamp line has been a smashing success. We are excited to offer cling stamps in all other markets beginning with the 2019 occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure. During the transition, be sure to view product details carefully both in publications (each stamp type is identified with an icon) and when placing orders to note the stamp medium.
- Beginning with the 2019 occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure, all new stamp sets will be available either in cling (for red rubber stamps) or photopolymer.
- Stamps in the 2018-2019 annual catalog will continue to be available in clear-mount, wood-mount, or photopolymer.
- Red rubber stamp sets (clear-mount or wood-mount) in the annual catalog that will be carrying over will transition to cling with the 2019-2020 annual catalog. Watch for more information about carryover stamp sets in April 2019 with the regularly scheduled communication about catalog transitions, the carryover list, and the retiring products list.
- In 2019-2020 annual catalog, clear-mount and wood-mount stamps* will no longer be available. The only exception is background stamps in North America only, which will still be available in wood-mount.
- *Wood-mount stamp set sales have been steadily declining for several years. Stampin’ Up! research and sales teams took this and several other factors into consideration before discontinuing wood-mount stamps. We are confident the transition to cling stamps will be beneficial in many ways for demonstrators, customers, and the company.
