Sneak Peek 2019 Holiday Catalog, Come to Gather, Gather Together, Gathered Leaves, Layering Circles - Season of Thanks Card - I

It's mostly sunny this morning in Midland, Michigan with clouds moving in late tonight and a chance of thunderstorms.  Our high temp for today is 78F with a low of 69F for tonight.  The winds are SSE at 10 to 20mph.

My share for today is a Fall Card that I designed using some of the new products from Stampin' Up!'s 2019 Holiday Catalog.  Let's take a look:

Yup!  It's getting to be that time of year again when the leaves start to drop and there's some cooler temperatures. 

The Come to Gather Designer Series Paper is perfect for Fall.  I trimmed out a 4" x 4" Card Base from the Barn Wood pattern.

I fussy cut out the 3 Pumpkins from the Pumpkin pattern and some of the Flowers and Leaves from the Pretty Peacock Flower/Leaf pattern.  (Some images in the Paper can be die cut out using the coordinating Gathered Leaves Dies.)

Now, doesn't the Acetate Circle remind you of a Clear Harvest Moon!!!  It's Stampin' Up!'s new faux Mercury Glass Designer Acetate.  I LOVE it and I think it will create some awesome Halloween Cards and/or Tags.  Using the Layering Circles Dies, I die cut out a Circle from the Acetate and adhered it to my Card.

Using the new Gather Together Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment in Pretty Peacock Ink onto the Largest Pumpkin.

I stamped my Wheat Stalks in Soft Suede Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and fussy cut them out.

I stamped my Large Leaf in Pretty Peacock Ink onto Pretty Peacock Cardstock and die cut the Leaf out with the new coordinating Gathered Leaves Dies.

I also die cut out the Small and Medium Leaves from Merry Merlot Cardstock.  The Small and Medium Leaf Dies emboss as well.  (You can add a subtle detail to your die cuts by spritzing your cardstock with water before cutting.  This results in a tone-on-tone color and creates a deeper imprint.)

I adhered the Large Pretty Peacock Leaf and the Small and Medium Merry Merlot Leaves to my Card leaving the edges free of adhesive so I could tuck in my Soft Suede Wheat Stalks and my Pretty Peacock Flowers/Leaves behind the die cut leaves.

I adhered the Medium and Small Pumpkins with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and my Large Pumpkin with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I tucked another fussy cut sprig of Flowers/Leaves under the Large Pumpkin.

I cut a length of Linen Thread, Tied it into a Bow and adhered it to the left Wheat Stalk.

I adhered 3 Pretty Peacock Rhinestones to my Card as shown in the picture above.

Preorder Details

• Preorders are available on demonstrator orders only.
• Preorder limits apply: one of each select non-consumable item and two of each consumable item.
• Projects kits are limited to one per demonstrator during this preorder period.

Cling Stamps

Stampin' Up!'s red rubber stamps are now better then ever!

Cling stamps were first introduced in Japan beginning with their 2018-2019 annual catalog. The new stamp line has been a smashing success. We are excited to offer cling stamps in all other markets beginning with the 2019 occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure. During the transition, be sure to view product details carefully both in publications (each stamp type is identified with an icon) and when placing orders to note the stamp medium.

• Beginning with the 2019 occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure, all new stamp sets will be available either in cling (for red rubber stamps) or photopolymer.
• Stamps in the 2018-2019 annual catalog will continue to be available in clear-mount, wood-mount, or photopolymer.
• Red rubber stamp sets (clear-mount or wood-mount) in the annual catalog that will be carrying over will transition to cling with the 2019-2020 annual catalog. Watch for more information about carryover stamp sets in April 2019 with the regularly scheduled communication about catalog transitions, the carryover list, and the retiring products list.

• In 2019-2020 annual catalog, clear-mount and wood-mount stamps* will no longer be available. The only exception is background stamps in North America only, which will still be available in wood-mount.
  • *Wood-mount stamp set sales have been steadily declining for several years. Stampin’ Up! research and sales teams took this and several other factors into consideration before discontinuing wood-mount stamps. We are confident the transition to cling stamps will be beneficial in many ways for demonstrators, customers, and the company.
