Joyous Noel, Twinkle Twinkle, Still Night, Night Owl, Blizzard, Layering Circles, Layered Leaves, Woodland - More Owl Cards

We had a light rain shower in the wee hours of the morning.  It's been sunny most of the morning so far; but, we are to expect some hit-or-miss thunderstorms this afternoon and tonight.  Our high temp is supposed to be 77 and there's a really nice, light breeze.  A nice day to spend some time outside and in the yard.

My share for today is some more Owl Cards that I designed using some new Stampin' Up! products from the 2018 Catalog.  This time, I decided to make the Owl Card's with a Christmas theme.  Let's take a look:

I used Stampin' Up!'s new BIG Shot Embossing Mats and the new Blizzard Thinlits Die and run it through my BIG Shot to create the embossed background.  So, you can actually use your Dies to Dry Emboss your Cards.  Pretty Cool, huh!  

For this Card, I used Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper that has copper foil accents on one side of the double sided paper.

I used Still Night Stamp Set to stamp my Owl and Saying.  I used Tranquil Tide Ink and Cardstock for most of today's Cards.

I LOVE how bold the Owl looks when stamped on Soft Suede Cardstock.

This Owl looks a lot 'softer' as I used Crumb Cake Ink and Cardstock. 

I stamped my Saying in Tranquil Tide Ink and die cut it out using the Label Die from Night Owl Thinlits Dies.  I die cut another Label from Tranquil Tide Cardstock, cut it in half and adhered a half to each end of my Saying Label.

I LOVE the Designers Series Paper behind this Owl.  So pretty! 

The Owls' eye's seem to follow you if you move from side-to-side.  I bet you are all swaying from side-to-side now (and, if you really do read my blog and are swaying, I bet you're smiling or laughing right now and, if so, then my job is done)!!!  😊😊😊
 

 

 

For the Card pictured above, I inked up the large Blizzard Die with Night of Navy Ink and ran it through my BIG Shot with the new Embossing Mats. 
 

It's kind of a neat effect; but, I think a little too busy for me!

And, of course, I had to try the Twinkle Twinkle Designers Series Paper behind the Owl to create a night sky.  I've used it a lot lately.
