We went fishing yesterday and caught lots and lots of fish! I really needed a nice outdoor break.
My share for today is another Tin that I embellished to hold the Tri-fold Gift Card Holder that I shared with you on my blog last Friday. I 'm also sharing another recycling project with a couple treats for the inside of this Tin too. Let's take a look:
Last Friday, I shared a Tri-fold Gift Card Holder that I designed to fit into one of the tins that my Niece Amy gave to me. These Non-Stampin' Up! 3-3/8" x 4-1/4" x 3/4" Metal Tins have been so fun to embellish. I've always loved to recycle items and this metal tin is perfect for many things and occasions. Thank you so much Amy...I LOVE them!!!
Using Stampin' Up!'s new Tags & Tidings Stamp Set, I stamped the Tags in Cherry Cobbler Ink and then again in Garden Green Ink and die cut them out with the new Christmas Tags Thinlit Die.
The coolest part of the Tags & Tidings Stamp Set is that all 16 Tag images are on one stamp and the coordinating Christmas Tags Thinlits Die cuts out all 16 Tag images at one time. Brilliant!!! LOVE, LOVE and LOVE!!!
So, you can stamp and die cut out all the Tags at once or you can trim apart the individual stamps. I may just order another Tags & Tidings Stamp Set and cut them apart and leave the one that I already have in tact!!! 😊😊😊
I also die cut all 16 images out of Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green Cardstocks.
I used Stampin' Up!'s Beautiful Baubles Stamp Set to stamp the Baubles in Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler Ink and used the coordinating Detailed Baubles Thinlits Dies to die cut them out. Beautiful Baubles Stamp Set is really cool too as one stamp has 6 Baubles (8 stamps total) and Detailed Baubles Thinlits Dies has one die that die cuts out all 6 Baubles plus more (5 dies total).
So, here is my second recycling idea:
When I ordered and received my new Stampin' Up! Stampin' Blends, I cut off the cellophane packaging sleeve just below the printing and kept the non-printed portion for future use. The cut off sleeve is about 4-3/4" long from the adhesive flap to the top where I cut it off. The sleeve is 1-1/2" wide and is the perfect size to hold a Coffee flavored hard candy.
I adhered the adhesive end closed, inserted the Coffee flavored hard candy into the cut off top of the sleeve, folded the top over and stapled it closed. I then embellished the tops with the stamped and die cut Tags and Baubles that I tied together with Stampin' Up!'s Silver and White Baker's Twine. I adhered them to the top of the treats with a Stampin' Dimensional.
I used Coffee Cups Framelits Dies to die cut my Cup, Lid, Band and Oval, I adhered the cup together as shown in the picture above and adhered it to my Belly Band with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I used Candy Cane Season Stamp Set to stamp my Holly and fussy cut it out. I adhered 3 Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels for my Holly Berries.
I used All the Presents Thinlits Dies to die cut my Large Bow from Whisper White Cardstock.
I used Stampin' Up!'s new Santa's Signpost Framelits Dies to die cut my Snowflakes.
I even brushed some Wink of Stella onto each Snowflake.
I adhered Stampin' Up!'s new Frosted Epoxy Droplets in the center of my Snowflakes.
This may be my FAVE Tin yet!!! 😊😊😊 And, who wouldn't want to receive a Gift Card to their FAVE Coffee Shop and a couple Coffee Treats!!!
