Someone dumped off a Mother and Father Cat and four Baby Kittens about a month ago. The Father Cat was hit by a car so I'm down to the five now. I've been working with the four Baby Kittens to tame them and take them to the Humane Society for adoption. Yesterday was our first attempt. We made it all the way to the Humane Society and we took our brand new cat carrier with the Kitten in it out of the back of the car. To our surprise, the door on the carrier was defective. So, the door opened outward and out went the Kitten before we could get it in the door. It took off across the street and into a field. Needless to say, I was devastated and couldn't hold back the tears. The weight of the towel and the Kitten made the bottom of the carrier bulge downward and let the door open up. That's what I get for buying a cheap carrier at our BIG Box Store. I'm almost ready to attempt another try for another Kitten to be taken for adoption. We will make sure that the door can't open this time and tie it shut. We'll see how this one goes.
My Hubby had to have another injection in his eye this morning and that didn't go well either. He said that it burned so badly and that it gave him an instant headache. He is doing a little better now.
Anyways, even though the sun is shining full on and the humidity is gone, it has still been a little gloomy for me today.
My share for today is another Tin that I embellished. Let's take a look:
My Niece Amy gave to me a lot of these Non-Stampin' Up! 3-3/8" x 4-1/4" x 3/4" Metal Tins and I have been having so fun to embellishing them. I've always loved to recycle items and this metal tin is perfect for many things and occasions. Thank you so much Amy...I LOVE them!!!
AND...if you are getting tired of seeing these tins, you can always make the same designs on a Card. You can even add a sentiment or greeting too!
I used Stampin' Up!'s new All the Presents Thinlits Dies to die cut out my Ribbon from Cherry Cobbler Cardstock.
I used Layering Ovals Framelits Dies to die cut out my two Ovals.
I used Stampin' Up!'s new Detailed Deer Thinlits Dies to die cut out my Deer.
I then used the new Swirls & Curls Embossing Folder to Dry Emboss my Vellum Oval and the Gold Foil Deer. Such a gorgeous effect!!!
I used Stampin' Up!'s Stitched Seasons Framelits Dies to die cut out my Poinsettia and 3 Swirls.
I embellished my Poinsettia and the Swirls with Stampin' Up!'s Gold Metallic Pearls.

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due. My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!
