My share for today is another of Stampin' Up's One in a Melon June 2017 Paper Pumpkin Kit alternate projects that I designed. I also used SU's new Pretty Label Punch.
Let's take a look:
Today, I will be sharing with you the third of four 3" x 3" Cards. I'll share the last one tomorrow and the Card Holder Box on Wednesday.
My Card Base is Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock cut at 3" x 6" and scored at 3" for a side opening Card.
My First Card Front Panel is Melon Mambo Cardstock cut at 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" and adhered to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
My Second Card Front Panel is a piece of the Pre-Printed Card Bases from the One in a Melon Paper Pumpkin Kit cut at 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" and adhered to my First Card Front Panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Using the One in a Melon Stamp Set from the Kit, I stamped the Rind in Emerald Envy Ink and the Melon in Melon Mambo Ink onto one of the Round Die Cut Tags in the Kit.
I would suggest using one of Stampin' Up's Stampin' Pierce Mats underneath a couple sheets of paper when stamping with a larger, solid image Photopolymer stamp like the half Watermelon stamps in this kit. The Stampin' Pierce Mat not only gives you more even pressure and ink coverage; but, it keeps your work surface clean too!
I cut the tag in half and adhered it to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Using the Melon Mambo Baker's Twine in the Kit, I wrapped it around the side of my Card and tied it into a Bow.
I stamped my Sentiment in Melon Mambo Ink onto a scrap piece of Whisper White Cardstock. I used one of SU's Layering Circles Dies to die cut the top and bottom of the Sentiment to make it rounded and trimmed the ends off straight. I adhered the Sentiment partially over the Watermelon with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Using SU's new Pretty Label Punch, I punched out the Sentiment and adhered it to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I fussy cut one of the Watermelon's out from the Pre-Printed Card Bases and adhered it underneath the Sentiment with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I had some left over scraps from the Pre-Printed Card Bases so I adhered a strip that measures 1/4" x 3" to the bottom of the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Gosh...I LOVE this Paper Pumpkin Kit. I have so many idea's for thing's to create with it. I could go on and on and on.
That's all I have for today! I hope you enjoyed my blog post and thanks for stopping by!
