Stampin' Up Season of Cheer Shaker Card

Today, I have a shaker card to show you!  I LOVE shaker cards as they are so much fun to make and play around with.  Let's take a look:

I made an A2 sized card base, 8 1/2"x5 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4" for a right side opening, using Stampin' Up's Old Olive Card Stock.

My card front panel was made with SU's Season of Cheer Designer Series Paper with the Christmas Ornaments and cut at 4" x 5 1/4".

I made two other panels; one using SU Old Olive Card Stock cut at 4"x3 5/8" and the other using SU DSP (which is the other side of the Christmas Ornaments) with the Old Olive and White diagonal stripes cut at 3 3/4" x 3 3/8".  All these panels were adhered to the card base using MultPurpose glue in the order shown in the card picture.

I took a scrap of SU Whisper White Card Stock and punched it with SU's Artisan Label Punch - retired; (You could use SU's Label Bracket Punch), stamped it with the Love Peace Joy stamp from SU's A little Something Stamp Set in SU Real Red Ink and heat embossed it.  * See note in paragraph below before adhering this piece -This was adhered to the center of the SU DSP Green and White diagonal paper.

For the shaker panel, I cut a piece of SU Whisper White Card Stock at 3 1/8"x3 1/2" and punched a 2" circle in the center and punched each corner with the new SU Curvy Corner Trio Punch.  I hand trimmed some SU Real Red Card Stock and adhered it under each punched corner.  *Note - I took this panel and centered it on my DSP on my Card Base and drew a circle with a pencil to make sure my shaker panel and the sentiment and everything lined up.  I die cut a circle of window sheet from the SU Circle Collections Framelits Die (5th die from center) and adhered it to the back of the shaker panel. I adhered some foam tape all the way around the outside circle so it wouldn't show through from the front.  I placed some sequins from the SU Brights Sequin Assortment over the sentiment and adhered my shaker panel over the top.

I stamped the bow from SU's Your Presents Stamp Set on SU Old Olive Card Stock, fussy cut it out and adhered it to the top of the shaker circle with Multi Purpose Glue.

I also added sequins in each corner and one on the bow.

Phew...that's not so easy to put in writing; but, I think I got it all!!!

That's all that I have for today.  I may or may not publish my blog the next couple days as I may or may not have internet service.  A Technician should be here tomorrow to work on our issues.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
