My share for today is a 'Graduation' Card for my Cousin Mallory that I designed using Stampin' Up!'s NEW Mini Pocket Envelope Dies from Stampin' Up!'s 2022 Mini Occasions Catalog and/or the NEW May 2022-April 2023 Annual Catalog and more. Let's take a look:
I took my Cousin's Graduation Invitation and trimmed it out into different views that I used to design my Card to her.
My Card Base is Shaded Spruce Cardstock.
I trimmed out the picture of her School and adhered it to my Card Base with Tear & Tape Adhesive to create a Pocket to hold the Mini Pocket Envelope. So, it's a Pocket-In-A-Pocket!!! Ha! Ha! 😁😁😁
Using the Mini Pocket Envelope Dies, I die cut out the pieces to create the Pocket and the Bow.
I adhered everything together and inserted the Pocket Envelope into the Pocket that I created on the Card!!! You can insert a Gift Card, Money or a check. I put a check into mine.
Using the Seasonal Labels Dies, I die cut out the name of the school and adhered it to the top of my Card.
Using the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set, I stamped 'Congratulations' in Shaded Spruce Ink onto a piece of Basic White Cardstock, die cut it out with the coordinating Sentiment Silhouettes Dies and adhered it to the top of my Card.
I trimmed out another portion of the invitation and adhered it to the top of the left inside of my Card with just a line of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the top of the invite panel.
For the Right side of my Card, I stamped my Sentiment onto a portion of the invite, die cut it out with the Layering Circles Dies and adhered it to the right inside of my Card.
I die cut out three of the Leaf Sprigs and adhered them around the Circle as shown in the picture above.
I trimmed out a panel of Cardstock and adhered it to the left bottom inside of my Card with Tear & Tape adhesive to form another pocket.
I tucked another portion of the invite into the pocket.
I die cut out three Stars and the Streamers from Basic White Cardstock and adhered them to the outside of the pocket.
Using the Layering Circles Dies, I die cut out a Scalloped Circle from Cardstock and a Circle of the Class Motto from the invite. I adhered the two together.
I adhered the Circles to the back of the Card with three pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive to form yet another pocket.
I die cut out three more Leaf Sprigs and adhered two to the Name Tag from the Invitation and one to the Class Motto. I inserted the Name Tag inside the Circles pocket as shown in the picture above.
I randomly adhered some Evening Evergreen 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds as shown in the pictures.
