My share for today is an Alternate Friend/Flower Card with a 'Flip Up' Flower that I designed using components from Stampin' Up!s April 2022 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Change Is Beautiful and more. Let's take a look:
My Card Base is Melon Mambo Cardstock.
My Card Front Panel is from the Crushed Curry Envelope Liner from the Change Is Beautiful Paper Pumpkin Kit.
My Second Card Front Panel is from one of the 'Z' Fold Cards in the Kit.
To make the 'Flip Up' Flower Greeting:
Using the Hello Beautiful Stamp Set, I stamped my Greeting in Melon Mambo Ink onto the back of one of the Large Flower Die Cuts from the Kit as shown in the picture above.
Using the Beautiful Shapes Dies, I die cut out the two Hexagon Die by folding a small piece of Melon Mambo Cardstock in half and placing it in half of the Die so that it would leave the two Hexagons attached (just below the cut line in one of the Hexagons in the two Hexagon Die). This creates the piece allowing the Flower to 'Flip Up' and the Recipient to be able to read the stamped Greeting.
I adhered half of the Hexagon to the stamped Flower Die Cut and then to my Card as shown in the picture above.
I adhered one Small and one Medium Flower from the Kit to the Hexagons as shown in the picture above.
I adhered one Medium Flower from the Kit with a Stampin' Dimensional strategically placed so it would hold the Large Flower down .
I adhered three of the Faux Pearlized Sea Glass Embellishments from the Kit as shown in the picture above.
For the inside of my Card:
Using the NEW Framed Occasions Stamp Set, I stamped the Dotted Circle in Melon Mambo Ink onto a panel of Basic White Cardstock.
I stamped my Saying in Melon Mambo Ink into the Center of the Dotted Circle.
Using the Change Is Beautiful Stamp Set from the Kit, I stamped the Large Butterfly in Melon Mambo Ink.
I adhered the Panel to the inside of my Card.
I randomly adhered three of the Faux Pearlized Sea Glass Embellishments from the Kit to my Card as shown in the picture above.
