My share for today is a Happy Heart Card that I designed using products from Stampin' Up!'s January 2022 Mini Occasions Catalog, Sale-A-Bration Brochure and more. Let's take a look:
Today, I created a Side Panel Card to share with you using the Free Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set called Catching Butterflies. You get to choose a FREE SAB product with every $50 or $100 you spend (before tax and shipping).
My Card Base is Thick Basic White Cardstock. I trimmed off about 1-1/4" of the Front Right side of my Card Base.
I used Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper on the outside and the inside of my Card.
I also used the Palms Dies to die cut out my Grass from the DSP.
I used the Cloud Punch to punch out two Clouds (one on the inside and one on the outside) from the DSP.
Using the Catching Butterflies Stamp Set, I stamped the Butterflies in Memento Black Ink on the inside edge of my Card.
The Catching Butterflies Stamp Set is a great Stamp Set to get out your Stampin' Write Markers to color the Butterflies. Stampin' Write Markers have one end to actually write with and the other end has a pointed tip designed to color into smaller spaces like the Butterflies.
I used my Mango Medley and Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Markers to color my Butterflies.
I also used my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to go over the Little Girls' Eye's to make them 'Pop' more. (Just a little trick of mine!)
I used my new Stampin' Blends Skin Tone Markers to color the Little Girl's Hair, Face, Neck, Hands, Legs and Feet. I used SU500 and SU 600 for the Little Girl's Hair and SU900 and SU1000 for the Skin tone.
I used my Light and Dark Crumb Cake to color the Net and my Light and Dark Highland Heather to color her Dress.
Using the Catching Butterflies Stamp Set, I masked my Stamp and only stamped the words 'You Make My Heart' in Memento Black Ink onto one of the Clouds.
I fussy cut out some Butterflies and adhered them to my Card as shown in the picture above.
For the inside of my Card:
I cleaned my Stamp, re-masked my Stamp and only stamped the word 'Happy' in Black Memento Ink onto the second Cloud.
