Warm & Toasty, Poinsettia Petals, Poinsettia, Joy of Sharing, Snowflake Splendor, Hippo & Friends, Pine Woods - Alternate Christmas Card

It's another gorgeous day in Midland, Michigan.  It's partly cloudy out and we may have an isolated thunderstorm this afternoon or evening.  Our high temp for today is 81F with a low of 65F for tonight.  The winds are WNW at 5 to 10mph.

My share for today is an Alternate Christmas Card that I designed using Stampin' Up!'s Joy of Sharing All-Inclusive Card Kit and products from the 2020 Mini Holiday and the 2020-21 Annual Catalogs.  Let's take a look:

Now, just how Sweet is this adorable Polar Bear on ice skates!!!  😊😊😊  He looks like he is really shakin' his Booty on the ice!!!

I cut one of the 5" x 7" Card Bases from Stampin' Up!'s Joy of Sharing All-Inclusive Card Kit in half.  This made two Card Bases to measure 2-1/2" x 3-1/2".

I trimmed out a Panel of Mossy Meadow Cardstock to measure 4-1/4" x 5-1/2".

I adhered the second Card Base from yesterdays project to the Mossy Meadow Panel with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I trimmed out a 3" x 4-1/4" Panel of the Snowflake Pattern in Stampin' Up!'s Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper and adhered it to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using the Pine Woods Dies, I die cut out my Ice Rink from Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper and adhered it to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

*Tip - I left the corners of the DSP Panel and the Ice Rink free of adhesive so I could tuck in my Holly Berry Branches.

Using the Warm & Toasty Stamp Set, I stamped my Polar Bear in Black Memento Ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock.

Using my Stampin' Blends Markers in Light and Dark, I colored my Polar Bear with Real Red, Mossy Meadow and Petal Pink.

I fussy cut out my Polar Bear and adhered him to my Card with Stampin' Dimensionals as shown in the picture above.

I trimmed one of the Real Red Banners from the Joy of Sharing Kit a little shorter and adhered it to the top of my Card as shown in the picture above.

Using the Warm & Toasty Stamp Set, I stamped the Saying in Mossy Meadow Ink onto one of the Real Red Lined Labels in the Kit and adhered it over the Real Red Banner with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

*Tip - I left the ends of the Real Red Banner free of adhesive so I could tuck in my Holly Berry Branch.

Using the Poinsettia Petals Stamp Set, I stamped the Holly Berry Branches in Black Memento Ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock.  I then stamped the Holly Berries onto the Holly Berry Branches in Real Red Ink.

Using the coordinating Poinsettia Dies, I die cut out my Holly Branches.

I trimmed the Holly Branches into two pieces and adhered them under the corners of the Card Base and under the corners of the Real Red Banner and the Ice Rink as shown in the picture above.

*Tip - This is a personal Tip on how I do my Two-Step Stamping.  It's hard to see in my picture above; but, here is what I do when Two-Step Stamping.  And, some Stampers have no problem lining up there Two-Step Stamps where it's a little harder for me to line them up without getting the Ink on the outside of the Stamped Image.

Using the Poinsettia Petals Stamp Set, I stamped my Holly Berry Branches in Memento Black Ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock.

I then took the Holly Berry Stamp and trimmed off the excess material around the outside edges of my Holly Berry Stamp.  This makes it a lot easier to get the Holly Berries lined up to stamp inside the black lines of the Holly Berry Branch.

In the picture above, I tried to capture the Holly Berry Branches on the left that I stamped before removing the excess material from the Holly Berry Stamp.  You can see how I stamped the Real Red Ink outside of the black lines of the Holly Berry Branch.

On the right, you can see where I stamped the Real Red Ink onto the Holly Berry Branches and there is no, or hardly any, Real Red Ink outside the black lines of the Holly Berry Branch.

Pictured above is the inside of my Card.

Using Hippo & Friends Dies, I die cut out a Label from Mossy Meadow Cardstock and adhered it to the inside of my Card.

Using the Joy of Sharing Stamp Set, I stamped one of the Labels from the Joy of Sharing Kit in Mossy Meadow Ink and adhered it over the Mossy Meadow Label.

I adhered another Holly Berry Branch.

I'm really happy with the way these Alternate Cards are turning out!!!  😊😊😊

Tell someone you LOVE them and/or give someone an AIR HUG today!!!

Have a Blessed Day!!!
