Lovely Day February 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit, Happy Birthday To You - Tri Fold Envelope/Card/Gift Card Alternate Card - III

Hi All - I know it's been a bit since I last posted to my blog.  I have a major medical issue that's come up and I've been trying and I am still trying to deal with it.  So … I may not be posting a lot in the near future and, when I do post, it will be brief.  There's a lot that I have to think about right now.

The temperature here in Midland, Michigan has been very nice and like Spring.  Even my Daffodil's, Day Lily's and other flowers are starting to come up already.  Our high temp for today is 58F with a low of 43F for tonight.  The winds are SW at 15 to 25mph with some higher gusts possible and maybe some light, scattered showers.  I'll take it!!!

My share for today is an Alternate Card that I designed using elements from Stampin' Up!'s February, 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Lovely Day, Happy Birthday To You Stamp Set and the Coordinating Birthday Dies.

Plus, a sneak peek of a Ribbon that will be in Stampin' Up!'s 2020-21 Annual Catalog.  Hopefully, I will be able to share a new 2020-21 Stampin' Up! Suite called Ornate Garden with you soon.  Let's take a look at my Envelope Card:

To start off, I'm not sure if anyone has done an Envelope Card like this before or not.  If so, I apologize right off the start for not mentioning a name or blog.

Using Stampin' Up!'s Happy Birthday To You Stamp Set, I stamped my Cake in Black Memento Ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock and colored it with my Light and Dark Stampin' Blends in Pool Party, Old Olive, Petal Pink and Daffodil Delight.

I also colored a single Flower and fussy cut it out from the lot of three for the inside of my Card.

Using the Coordinating Birthday Dies, I die cut out my Cake.

I die cut out my Cake Stand from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock.

I also die cut out 2 Bud Stems from Old Olive Cardstock for the inside of my Card.

I trimmed off the bottom of the Cake Stand from the Stamped Cake and Flowers die cut and adhered the Rich Razzleberry Cake Stand to my Cake and Flowers.

Pictured above is the Envelope Card with the First flap opened up on the right.

All I did was cut off a 1-1/2" from the bottom of one of the Envelopes in the Kit and then cut the Envelope up the Center where it is adhered over onto itself.

Then I turned the Envelope up-side-down so the Glue Flap is at the bottom.

I used pieces from the Card Bases and Envelopes in the Kit that I had leftover from the first two Alternate Cards that I made and shared on my blog previously to embellish my Envelope Card.

Pictured above is the Envelope Card with the Second Flap opened up on the left.

I adhered the single Flower and two Bud Stems to the right side flap.

Pictured above is the Envelope Card with the Third Flap opened up in the Center.

I trimmed off part of the bottom of the Scalloped Card Front from the Kit for an Insert Card behind the Flap.

You can also put a Gift Card behind the Center Flap.

Using the Happy Birthday To You Stamp Set, I masked my stamp and stamped Happy and then Birthday in Black Memento Ink onto the Insert.

I adhered six of the Sequins from the Kit as shown in the picture above.

Have a Blessed Day!!!

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!
I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
