Let It Snow, Playful Penguins, Merry Moose, Toile Christmas, Christmas Cardinal, Christmas Layers, High Seas - Penguin Christmas Card - I

Yikes...It's a cold day here in Midland, Michigan.  Our high temp for today is 42F with a low of 26F for tonight.  The winds are W and strong at 10 to 20mph which makes it feel even colder.

On a personal note:  I'm trying a new medication for migraines and I've pretty much slept through 5 days so I didn't get to posting to my blog.  It's one of the side effects; but, it goes away in a couple weeks.  I'm glad that side effect is over.  I have other testing this week and next so I may or may not post to my blog on certain days.

My share for today is a Playful Penguin Christmas Card that I designed using some of Stampin' Up!'s products in the 2019 Holiday Catalog.  Let's take a look:

First off, I have a couple pic's of a Whitetail Deer ...

Isn't this 8pt Whitetail Buck just so pretty!!!

He is eating the crab apples underneath the crab apple tree.  God's Beauty, eh!!!

My Card Base is Coastal Cabana Cardstock.

My Card Front is from Stampin' Up!'s Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Using the High Seas Embossing Folder, I ran a panel of Shimmery White Cardstock through my BIG Shot Machine, trimmed the Snowbanks out and adhered it to the bottom of my Card Base.

Using Playful Penguins Stamp Set, I stamped my 2 Penguins in Black Memento Ink and fussy cut them out.

I also stamped the Bow Tie in Real Red Ink and the Hat and Scarf in Flirty Flamingo Ink and fussy cut them out.

I fussy cut out the Hat and Mittens from Let It Snow SDSP.

I adhered all the fussy cut images to my Penguins.

Using Merry Moose Stamp Set, I stamped the 2 Tree's in Shaded Spruce Ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock, fussy cut them out and adhered them to my Card as shown in the pic above.

Using Toile Christmas Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment in Flirty Flamingo Ink onto Flirty Flamingo Cardstock.

Using the Christmas Cardinal Dies, I die cut out my Sentiment and adhered it to my Penguin as shown in the pic above.

I adhered the 2 Penguins to my Card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Using Christmas Layers Dies, I die cut out 4 Snowflakes from Coastal Cabana Card Stock and adhered them to my Card as shown in the picture above.

I adhered a lot of Sequins from Stampin' Up!'s Snowflake Sequins assortment to my Tree's.

I adhered 4 of the Snowflake Sequins to my Snowflakes as shown in the pic above.

Have a Blessed Day!!!

Cling Stamps

11.01.18_HEADER_CLING_NA

Stampin' Up!'s red rubber stamps are now better then ever!

Cling stamps were first introduced in Japan beginning with their 2018-2019 annual catalog. The new stamp line has been a smashing success. We are excited to offer cling stamps in all other markets beginning with the 2019 occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure. During the transition, be sure to view product details carefully both in publications (each stamp type is identified with an icon) and when placing orders to note the stamp medium.
  • Beginning with the 2019 occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure, all new stamp sets will be available either in cling (for red rubber stamps) or photopolymer.
  • Stamps in the 2018-2019 annual catalog will continue to be available in clear-mount, wood-mount, or photopolymer.
  • Red rubber stamp sets (clear-mount or wood-mount) in the annual catalog that will be carrying over will transition to cling with the 2019-2020 annual catalog. Watch for more information about carryover stamp sets in April 2019 with the regularly scheduled communication about catalog transitions, the carryover list, and the retiring products list.
  • In 2019-2020 annual catalog, clear-mount and wood-mount stamps* will no longer be available. The only exception is background stamps in North America only, which will still be available in wood-mount.
    • *Wood-mount stamp set sales have been steadily declining for several years. Stampin’ Up! research and sales teams took this and several other factors into consideration before discontinuing wood-mount stamps. We are confident the transition to cling stamps will be beneficial in many ways for demonstrators, customers, and the company.

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
