Stampin' Up Basket Bunch, Touches of Texture, Basket Builder, Build It, Bunch of Banners

Wowzers it's turned cold again!!!  That wind is just awful; but, the bright side, the sun is shining full on.  We only had 4 days of full sun and 11 days of part sun in January so I've really been missing my sunshine.

My share for today is another note card that I designed using Stampin' Up's Basket Bunch and Touches of Texture Stamp Sets and Basket Builder, Build It and Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies.

Let's take a look:

This was my second attempt at making this card.

My first attempt at this card was destroyed by my oh-so-handsome cat, Boris!  He was on a Holy Terror yesterday morning flying around the house and doing the 'yowling' thing!  He was the perfect picture and sound of the all black cat at Halloween!  And, I was almost done with the Card too so it was a lot of work ruined.  The spilled coffee was the worst.

So, back to my second attempt at this card....

Much better, eh!

My card base is one of Stampin' Up's Whisper White Note Cards.

Using SU's Touches of Texture Stamp Set, I stamped the small dotted Splat stamp for the background in Soft Sky Ink three times.

Using SU's Basket Bunch Stamp Set, I stamped:
The two Birds in Soft Sky Ink onto Soft Sky Cardstock.  I colored in their Beaks with my So Saffron Stampin' Write Marker.

I stamped the Basket and Handle and the Tiny Basket in Crumb Cake Ink onto Crumb Cake Cardstock.  I fussy cut the Tiny Basket out with my Snips.

I stamped the Bow with Flirty Flamingo Ink onto Flirty Flamingo Cardstock.

I stamped the Rabbits in Chocolate Chip Ink onto Chocolate Chip Cardstock.

I stamped the Eggs in Sweet Sugarplum, Soft Sky, So Saffron, Wisteria Wonder, Flirty Flamingo and Blushing Bride onto their corresponding Cardstocks.  I used my Stampin' Write Marker of the same colors to color in the Eggs and then I went over the coloring using an Aqua Painter with water only.

Using SU's Basket Builder Framelits Dies, I die cut everything out along with 4 of the Grass Dies from Old Olive Cardstock.

I adhered two of the Grass die cuts to the bottom of the card and pieced a third one in-between with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.  I used the remainder of the third Grass die cut for the Basket adhering a small piece to the back of the Basket, then the Rabbit and then another small piece of the Grass.

I then tucked one of the Tiny Eggs in-between each Grass piece on each side of the Rabbit with a small spot of Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I assembled my Basket as shown in the above picture and adhered it centered and behind the Grass with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered a Rabbit die cut; one on each side of the Basket behind the Grass.

I adhered 5 of the Large Eggs to the Grass die cut with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I then adhered the Medium Eggs in-between the Large Eggs with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered the Tiny Basket to one of the Bird's Beak and both of the Birds and the Tiny Basket to my card with small pieces of Stampin' Dimensionals.

I stamped my Sentiment in Flirty Flamingo Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and die cut it out using the Banner from Bunch of Banners Framelits Die.  I adhered it to the bottom of my card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

For the inside of my Card:
I stamped my Sentiment on a scrap of Flirty Flamingo Cardstock with Flirty Flamingo Ink.  I then die cut it out with the Hexagon die from SU's Build It Framelits Dies.

I dragged each Hexagon edge through my Flirty Flamingo Ink Pad and adhered the Hexagon and another Bow to the inside of my Card.

I adhered another Chocolate Chip Rabbit to the right side of my Sentiment.

I think it was worth the effort to make the Card twice!

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog!
