Stampin' Up Jar of Cheer, Hang Your Stocking, Oh What Fun, Stitched Shapes, Pretty Pines, Presents & Pinecones, This Christmas, Candy Cane Lane, 3x6 Treat Bags

Happy Monday!  We ended up with about 2" of snow; but, it's melting quite quickly off the trees.  I can actually here the snow 'thumping' to the ground as it falls off the roof.  Took me a few minutes to figure out that it wasn't my cats getting into something...again! =)

My share for today is 3 Treat Bags that I made up using Stampin' Up's Jar of Cheer, Hang Your Stocking and Oh What Fun Stamp Sets, Stitched Shapes Framelits and Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies, Presents & Pinecones, This Christmas and Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Papers and 3"x6" and 4"x10" Gusseted Cellophane Bags.

Let's take a look:

Isn't this just the cutest with the Santa's peeking out!!!  And, my FAVE candy.  I learned how to make these Treat Holders Bags from Stampin' Up in a video that they sent us.

For this Treat Bag, I used one of Stampin' Up's 4" x 10" Gusseted Cellophane Bags (Retired); but, you can get them at your local craft store.

I folded each top of the DSP's down and stapled them closed.

Using SU's Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies, I die cut 3 Ovals; The Largest from Emerald Envy Cardstock, the Second largest from This Christmas DSP and the Third Largest from Whisper White Cardstock.

Using SU's Hang Your Stocking Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment in Real Red Ink on the Whisper White Oval.

I adhered all 3 Ovals together with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Using SU's Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies, I die cut the Solid Pinecone from Copper Foil and the Detailed Pinecone from Early Espresso Cardstock.  I adhered the 2 together with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I die cut the Bow from Cherry Cobbler Cardstock and adhered it to the top of the Pinecone with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.  I punched a 1/4" circle from Cherry Cobbler Cardstock with my 1/4" Handle Held Punch and adhered it to the center of my Bow.

Using SU's Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies, I die cut the Holly from Emerald Envy Cardstock and adhered it under the Pinecone with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I trimmed out a piece of Presents & Pinecones DSP at 3-7/8" x 12" and Scored it at 2", 4-5/8", and 10-1/2".

I used a retired 4" x 10" Gusseted Cellophane Bag (retired) and cut about 3" off of the top.

Stick your hand into the Gusseted Bag all the way to the bottom to open it up and insert your DSP.  Fold the bottom as shown in the picture above.  You just need to flatten down your corners.  I used small SU Glue Dots to hold the two corners down flat and then 4 Glue dots to hold the long strip of Cellophane down across the bottom.

I filled my Treat Bag with Chocolate Covered Pretzels in the bottom, and then some Chocolate Covered Peanuts and then two Chocolate Marshmallow Santa's on top.

Then, using one of SU's Bow Clips, I tied on a piece of SU's 3/8" Cherry Cobbler Silky Taffeta Ribbon to the top of the Bow Clip and clipped the Ovals to the the top of the Treat Holder Bag.  The Ribbon comes in a combo pack with Emerald Envy being the other color.

Here's a couple more that I made using the 3" x 6" Gusseted Cellophane Bags.

I trimmed out my DSP for inside the Treat Holder Bag at 2-7/8" x 9" and scored it at 1", 3" and 7-3/4".

Using SU's Stitched Framelits Dies, I die cut 3 Ovals, the Largest from Emerald Envy Cardstock, the Second Largest from Real Red Cardstock and the Third Largest from Whisper White Cardstock.

Using SU's Jar of Cheer Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment in Real Red Ink on the Whisper White Oval.  I adhered all 3 Ovals together with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and adhered it to the top of the Treat Holder Bag with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I tied a Bow with SU's 3/8" Silky Taffeta Emeral Envy Ribbon and adhered it to the bottom of my Ovals with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered one of SU's Emerald Envy Star Enamel Shapes above the Sentiment.

He He!  This ones a little lopsided.  I think I filled it with too much candy!!!  Yum!

For this Treat Bag Holder, I die cut 3 Ovals; the Largest Oval from Real Red Cardstock, the Second Largest Oval from This Christmas DSP and the Third Largest from Soft Sky Cardstock.

I stamped my Sentiment from Oh, What Fun Stamp Set in Real Red Ink on my Soft Sky Oval.

I stamped the Scrolls on top and underneath my Sentiment in Garden Green Ink.

I adhered all 3 Ovals together with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and adhered it to the top of the Treat Holder Bag with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I made my own little Tassel from Gold and White Baker's Twine that I had leftover from my Stitched with Cheer Project Kit.  I tied a Bow around the top of my Tassel with SU's Gold Baker's Twine and also used a little Mono Multi Purpose Glue to make it secure.  The Gold Bakers Twine comes in a Trio Pack with the other colors being Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green.  I punched a 1/8" hole in the side of the Ovals and tied on my Tassel.  I also punched a 1/4" Circle with my Handheld Punch and adhered it over the hole in the back just to make it a little cleaner.

And, I adhered one of SU's Basic Jewel Rhinestones by the Sentiment for a little Bling-Bling.

These make for sweet little gift for Family and Friends....

And, I even left one in the mail box for our Mailman.

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog!
