Let's take a look at the Stitched with Cheer Project Kit:
I was a little worried about doing the hand sewing on these cards with my arthritic hands; but, what a breeze it was for me. I can't believe how easy and quickly that I got through all the cards and my hands didn't ache at all.
The Stitched with Cheer Project Kit makes 18 cards: 6 each of 3 designs. It includes 18 card bases, folded size 4-1/4" x 5-1/2", envelopes and envelope liners, kraft and white card front backers;
and kraft circles and banner; white banners, gold baker's twine, gold and white twine, metallic gold thread;
and, 20 gold adhesive-backed enamel dots, burlap ribbon, printed die cut images, red and white adhesive pearls, gold foil doilies, two needles and one needle threader.
The coordinating colors are Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Emerald Envy, Gold, Kraft, Mint Macaron, Real Red and White.
The Stitched with Cheer Photopolymer Stamp Set has 27 stamps and is one of my FAVE stamp sets.
The Stitched with Cheer Stamp Set also coordinates with Holly Berry Builder Punch, Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies and Festive Stitching Thinlits Dies.
For the card pictured above, I added a little circle of Emerald Envy Cardstock.
I really enjoyed hand sewing these cards and putting them together. It was very comforting, relaxing to sit and sew and be so unstressed. Took my mind away for a while and I'm sure I had a smile on my face!!!

duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their
own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) -
Please give credit where credit is due. My cards and
projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog
hops, card classes or
sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my
creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions
cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!
Happy day after Thanksgiving!!! Hope everyone still has a Full Belly and a Warm Heart after yesterdays big Thanksgiving Dinner! I know I do! Hope you all created a lot of fun memories too!
It's a very pretty day here in Michigan with the Sun shining full on! It's about 40 degrees out and there's still some snow on the ground; but, it's disappearing quite fast. And, that's O.K. by me!!!
My share for today is a Turkey that I designed using Stampin' Up's Fox and Owl Builder Punches and Pyramid Pals Thinlits Dies.
Let's take a look:
OMGosh, this Turkey just cracks me up!!! His face is just too comical and he looks like he would want to give anyone a BIG hug!!! I still laugh every time I see that face!
The first thing I did was to punch out 2 Bodies and 1 Tail from Soft Suede Cardstock with the Fox Builder Punch.
Using Stampin' Up's Pyramid Pals Thinlits Dies, I die cut the Frog Legs (Turkeys Wings) from Soft Suede Cardstock and the Feathers from Soft Suede, Pumpkin Pie, Delightful Dijon and Real Red Cardstocks.
I trimmed off the Frog Legs until I had just the Feet (Wings) and adhered them to the back of one of the Fox Bodies with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I trimmed down the Fox Tail and adhered the Tail to the center of the Body with Mono Multi Purpose Glue. I guess this could be optional as I just thought that it would give the Turkey a look of more dimension.
I adhered one set of the Feathers to the back of one of the Bodies with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I adhered another set of the Feathers to the front of the second Body with Mono Multi Purpose Glue. I made sure that this second set of Feathers alternated with the first set so they evenly showed next to each other when the 2 Bodies were adhered together. Hope that makes sense.
I then adhered the 2 Bodies together with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Next, I die cut the Head in Soft Suede, Beak Delightful Dijon and Waddles in Real Red Cardstocks.
I adhered the Head to the Body with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I adhered the Waddles and the Beak to the Head with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Using the Owl Builder Punch, I punched 2 Circles from Whisper White Cardstock, 1 Circle from Soft Suede Cardstock and 2 Tiny Circles from Basic Black Cardstock for the Eyes.
I adhered the Whisper White Circles to the Face with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I cut the Soft Suede Circle in half and adhered them to the Whisper White Circles with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I adhered the Tiny Basic Black Circles to the Whisper White Circles with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
And, there you have it! The cutest Turkey in Town!!!
I'm not sure what I'm going to do with him yet! I may add a magnet to the back of him and put him on my refrigerator or I might add him to a card or I might include him in a 3D project.
