Stampin' Up Endless Birthday Wishes Card Class II

Happy Monday!  What a nice weekend is was; but, as always, it went by way too quick!

Today, I'll be sharing the second card from Stampin' Up's Endless Birthday Wishes Stamp Set card class that Stampin' Up so generously provided us Demonstrators to teach some classes.  Love this set and all the bright and cheery cardstock colors and inks!  It's also a great class to use up a lot of cardstock scraps!

Let's get started with my second card:

My card base is Stampin' Up Whisper White Cardstock cut at 5-1/2" x 11" and scored and folded at 4-1/4".

I trimmed out 4 pieces of SU Designer Series Paper at 3" x 1" in Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay.  I spaced them evenly across the center of my card base and adhered them with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

Using the word Celebrate from SU's Endless Birthday Wishes Stamp Set, I stamped it on a piece of SU's Tangerine Tango Cardstock with SU Bermuda Bay Ink.  I then trimmed it out at 4-3/4"  x 1/4", flagged one end and adhered it across my card base towards the bottom using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

I stamped the cake image from SU's Endless Birthday Wishes Stamp Set in Memento Black Ink on Whisper White Cardstock cut at 2" x 2".

Using my SU Aqua Brush, I water colored the cake using Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay Inks.

I adhered the cake to my card base using SU's Stampin' Dimensionals.

I tied a bow with SU's Bermuda Bay Thick Baker's Twine and adhered it to the top of the cake piece using Mono Mult-Purpose Glue to make it look like a present.

I punched out a small star using SU's Star Border Punch.  I added some Crystal Effects to the star to give it a shine.

I also added 3 SU Basic Jewel Rhinestone's randomly to my card.  I just love how these cards turned out!  They would cheer anyone up with all the bright colors.

Stampin' Up Endless Birthday Wishes Card Class I

Well, I had computer issues yesterday and wasn't able to post to my blog yesterday.  I hate when I can't get on my computer.  Really makes me feel even more isolated and lonely!!!

Today, I'll be sharing the first card in a new Stampin' Up Card Class that SU so generously provided us Demonstrators to use in a card class for our customers.  The card class uses SU's Endless Birthday Wishes (4 cards) and has lot's of bright and cheery colors of cardstock and ink!  It's also a great class to use up a lot of cardstock scraps.  Right up my alley!!!

Let's take a look at my first card:

These cards are really fun cards to make and very addicting!  I actually made two sets.

My card base is Stampin' Up Whisper White Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" scored and folded at 5-1/2". 

Using SU's Endless Birthday Wishes Stamp Set, I used the dots stamp and stamped them randomly in SU Bermuda Bay Ink at the top center of my card base. 

The bottom panel is SU Rich Razzleberry Designer Series Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 2".

The center panel is SU Bermuda Bay Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 1".

Both panels are adhered to my card base using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

The center rectangle panel is Whisper White Cardstock cut at 2" x 3-1/2".

I stamped the birthday cake towards the top in Memento Black Ink.

Using my Aqua Painter Brush, I water colored the cake with SU Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight and Rich Razzleberry Inks.

I stamped the word awesome in Rich Razzleberry Ink and the word birthday in Bermuda Bay Ink leaving enough room for a small panel of Daffodil Delight Cardstock cut at 1/2" x 5/8".

I stamped 'hope it's an' in Rich Razzleberry Ink on the small panel of Daffodil Delight, used my Signo White Gel Pen to make dashes and dots around the sentiment and adhered it to the Whisper White Panel with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I adhered Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the top part of the Whisper White panel and attached loops with SU's Silver Metallic Thread.

I put Stampin' Dimensionals on the rest of the panel and adhered it to the center of my card base.

I punched a small heart using SU's Heart Border Punch and used Crystal Effects to give it a shine.  I adhered it to the center of the cake using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

What a bright, fun and cheery card!!!

Stampin' Up 2016 Occasions Catalog Sneak Peek!!! - Botanical Builder - Back by Popular Demand

Wow...My Botanical Builder card that I designed way back in December as a Sneak Peak, before the Stampin' Up 2016 Occasions Catalog was released, has been my biggest creation yet!!!

Stampin' Up 2016 Occasions Catalog Sneak Peek!!! - Botanical's

Well, we got about 3" of snow with a lot of sleet on top yesterday afternoon and last night.  This afternoon, it is raining.  Oh boy!  Going to make for some awful driving.

I was able to play around with some of my Stampin' Up Demonstrator pre-order today.  What fun!  Such a nice, peaceful day after all the Holiday holly jolly!!!

Here's a look at the card I made using the new Botanical Blooms Stamp Set, Botanical Builder Framelits, Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper and Suite Sayings Stamp Set:

All I can say is the Botanical Framelits are AWESOME!  I could play, I mean work, with these Framelits forever!  And, there's more Framelits to show yet!!!  Stay tuned!

The flower centers are the new It's My Party Enamel Dots.

Check out those flowers and the leaf stem!!!  GORGEOUS!!!

The colors are Cajun Craze, Mint Macaron and Hello Honey for the flowers and Mossy Meadow for the leaf stem.

I did a little water color wash on the sentiment.

Pictured above is the inside of my card.  You can see hints of the Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper.

The Suite Sayings Stamp Set is going to be my new FAVE sentiments!!!

Stampin' Up Garden in Bloom Flower Fair Botanicals Mini Tic Tac Slider Project

Phew...The Stampin' Up Retired List came out yesterday!  I shed a few tears (how about a lot of tears) for some of the products retiring.  I was quite surprised at a lot of the punches being retired especially the Bird Builder Punch and the Circle Punches.  And, Crystal Effects; all I can say is Oh No!

Anyways, Stampin' Up had some troubles with their Web Site yesterday and I couldn't get my order placed until this morning.  With all the International and U.S. trying to get on to SU's site, I'm sure they would have some issues.

AND, I got to preview the new Stampin' Up 2016-2017 Annual Catalog.  Woo Hoo!  Lots of new dies, embossing folders, paper and some seriously amazing new stamp sets.  I just can't wait to pre-order!!!

Today, I have a Simple, Inexpensive and Quick project to share with you.  It's called a Mini Tic Tac Slider.

There are several video's on the internet showing how to make this project.  I followed the very talented fellow Stampin' Up Demonstrator, Erica Cerwin, and her video.

Let's take a look:

 You can find the Mini Tic Tac's at the Dollar Tree stores.  There are 3 to a pack for $1.

  




I used Stampin' Up's Botanical Builder Framelits Die's to embellish my sleeves for the Tic Tac Holders.  AND, I'M SO HAPPY that the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies are being carried over to the new SU 2016-2017 Annual Catalog.  Yippee Skippy!!!

I die cut two of the medium size flowers and trimmed out one of the petals and made them into butterflies.

Using SU's Silver Metallic Thread, I tied it around the butterfly for antennae.

This is an excellent project to use up scraps of ribbon and paper.  I took a small scrap of SU's 1-1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon and pulled out all of the Summer Starfruit (Retired) threads and adhered the piece along the leaf stem.

The 1-1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon in Bermuda Bay, Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake are now on the Retired List that came out yesterday.

I die cut the long fern leaf and another flower from SU's Botanical Builders Framelits Dies and adhered them to my Tic Tac Sleeve with SU Stampin' Dimensionals. 

I used SU's Silver Cording to tie around the butterfly for antennae.
 

I punched the leaf stem from SU's Bird Builder Punch (OH NO - It's on the Retired List).  Boo Hoo!!!

The other leaves were die cut from SU's Flower Fair Framelits Dies.

I die cut the Largest and the Medium flowers from SU's Botanical Builder Framelits Dies and trimmed out one of the petals to make them into butterflies.

I used SU's Thick White Bakers Twine to tie off my ribbon (Retired).

I stamped the butterfly from SU's Garden in Bloom and fussy cut them out.  I used two of the leaves from Flower Fair Framelits Dies and adhered them to my Tic Tac sleeve with Stampin' Dimensionals.
 

Another Boo Hoo - the 1" Watermelon Wonder Ribbon and the 1" Dotted Lace Ribbons are on the Retired List.

The Gold and the White Glitter Ribbons were in the Clearance Rack and sold out already!
 

 I tucked a piece of scrap ribbon behind my leaves with a rolled up glue dot.

I used SU's Gold Cording for my butterflies antennae and to tie off my ribbon.

Here is what the slider looks like.  The sleeve that goes around the Tic Tac container is so simple to make:

Cardstock - 2-1/4" x 4"
Score at 1-3/8" - 1-7/8" - 3-1/4" - 3-3/4"
Fold your score lines
Put Tear & Tape on the 1/4"end of cardstock
Remove your backing from your tape
Fold over and adhere

That is just way too easy!

Then, you just wrap a piece of ribbon around the Tic Tac Container and tie it off with bakers twine, cording or anything you would like.

These guys are just way too cute!  Make them and give them away as gifts.  My Friends just loved them!!!  They are an awesome size to keep in your purse too!
