Today is kind of a weird day outside. One minute, it is beautiful looking with the sun shining full on, and the next minute, it is really dark out and snowing like crazy! Between last night and today so far, we got another couple inches of snow. The winds are still gusting too so even though it is in the 30's, it feels like it's in the teen's. What happened to Spring!!!
My share for today is another Birthday Card that I made. Let's take a look:
My Card Base is Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper In Berry Burst cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2" for a side opening Card.
My Card Front Panel is Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock cut at 3-3/4" x 4-3/4".
I cut my Ribbon Strips from Berry Burst Cardstock to measure 7/16" x 3-3/4" for the vertical Ribbon Strip and 7/16" x 4-3/4" for the horizontal Ribbon Strip. I adhered the 2 Ribbon Strips with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.
Using Stampin' Up's Party Hat Birthday Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment in the upper left corner in Basic Black Archival Ink.
Using the Tassel Stamp, I stamped the images in each quadrant with Lemon Lime Ink as shown in the picture above.
I fussy cut out the Bermuda Bay Bow from SU's Picture Perfect Designers Series Paper and adhered it in the center with a Stampin' Dimensional.
I adhered my Card Front Panel to my Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
For the inside of my Card:
I trimmed out a panel of Whisper White Cardstock to measure 3-3/4" x 4-1/2" and adhered it to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I fussy cut out the Lemon Lime Twist Party Hat from SU's Picture Perfect Designers Series Paper.
Using SU's Party Hat Birthday Stamp Set, I masked off the Birthday from my stamp with tape, inked up the Stamp with Basic Black Archival Ink, removed the tape and stamped the Happy on my Party Hat. I cleaned my Stamp, and using the same technique as above, I stamped Birthday underneath the Happy and the X's onto the Party Hat as shown in the picture above.
I adhered my Party Hat to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Using SU's coordinating Party Hat Builder Framelits Dies, I die cut out the Large Tassel from Bermuda Bay and Lemon Lime Twist Cardstocks. I adhered the two Large Tassels together and to the top of my Party Hat with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I die cut out the Small Tassel from Bermuda Bay Cardstock and adhered it to the Large Tassels with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Seriously, doesn't that Party Hat look 3D!!! It's like I put actual Gold Foil Trim on the Party Hat; but, it's all in the Designer Series Paper. Amazing!!!
The last thing that I did was to adhere 3 of SU's Tutti-Frutti Adhesive-Backed Sequins to my Card; 2 in Berry Burst and one in Lemon Lime Twist.
A fun Card to make with some amazing paper!

sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my
creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions
cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!
It's a gorgeous day in Michigan today! The sun is shining full on and just glistening on the fresh snow and the water in the river. So pretty, even though I wish the snow would go away. It's supposed to get into the lower 40's with clouds moving in tonight and more snow for tonight and tomorrow. Bah Humbug!!!

Stampin' Up's Picture Perfect Designer Series Paper just blows me away. It just looks so real life like I could pull those presents right off of my Card. Crazy perfect!!!
My Card Base is Bermuda Bay Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2" for a side opening Card.
My Card Front Panel is Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock cut at 4-7/8" x 5-1/8" and adhered to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Using Stampin' Up's Party Hat Birthday Stamp Set, I stamped Happy Birthday in the Upper Left Corner in Basic Black Archival Ink.
I trimmed out a strip of Peekaboo Peach Cardstock to measure 1" x 5-1/8" and adhered it across the Center of my Card Front Panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I fussy cut out 3 of the Presents from Stampin' Up's Picture Perfect Designers Series Paper. I adhered the Left and Right Presents to the Peekaboo Peach Cardstock Strip with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and the Center Present with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I trimmed out a panel of Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock to measure 2-1/2" x 3".
Using SU's Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp Set, I stamped the Bow with Lemon Lime Twist Ink. I stamped the Shadow Bow 3 times over the Bow again using Lemon Lime Twist Ink.
I then stamped my Sentiment in Basic Black Archival Ink as shown in the picture above and adhered the Panel to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
The last thing that I did was to adhere some of SU's Glitter Enamel Dots to the front of my Card as shown in the picture above.
Just crazy how real life SU's Picture Perfect Designer Series Paper looks. And, it so quick and easy to make a Card from the selection of Papers. Again, Kudoo's to the SU Designer.
