My share for today is two 'Merry' Christmas Ornaments that I designed using products from Stampin' Up!'s 2022 Mini Occasions Catalog, the NEW 2022 Mini Holiday Catalog and/or the NEW Stampin' Up! May 2022-April 2023 Annual Catalog and more. Let's take a look:
Now, aren't these two Christmas Ornaments different! I went with non-traditional Christmas colors; Soft Sea Foam, Orchid Oasis and Poppy Parade. And actually, the two Ornaments really are different. I sliced apart the NEW Handmade Tag Punch at different intervals.
Using the NEW Handmade Tag Punch, I punched out a Tag from Orchid Oasis Cardstock.
I put the Tag into my Stampin' Trimmer and trimmed the Tag out into slices just above the notched edges on the top of the Ornament and below the notches on the bottom of the Ornament.
I adhered the slices to a panel of Soft Sea Foam Cardstock and fussy cut it out into an Ornament as shown in the picture above.
Using the NEW Spruced Up Stamp Set, I stamped 'Merry' in Poppy Parade Ink onto a piece of Basic White Cardstock and die cut it out with the Banner Die in the NEW Celebrations Tag Dies.
I adhered my Banner to my Ornament with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
I fussy cut out the Pinecone, Leaf Stems and Holly Leaves and Berries from the NEW Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper and the Returning FAVE Painted Christmas DSP.
I adhered everything to the top of my Ornament as shown in the picture above.
For this Ornament:
I trimmed out the Tag just below the notches on the top of the Ornament and just above the notches on the bottom of the Ornament.
I also used different Leaf Sprigs for the top of the Ornament.
I cut lengths of the NEW 3/8" Soft Sea Foam Seam Binding Ribbon and adhered them to the back of the Ornament.
I adhered two Small and one Large Amber Gems to each Ornament as shown in the picture above. The new Amber Gems can be found in the NEW Leaf Label & Amber Gems Combo Pack and shown on page 49 of Stampin' Up!'s NEW Mini Holiday Catalog.
